Maison Giannino

If I go back to Torre a Mare it is because Maison Giannino is such a special place, absolutely beautiful accommodation, most convenient and modern, with the best, most helpful and kind staff possible. Take a look at the pictures of the grounds, it is a beautiful historic villa. But it is also beautiful on the inside, because Leonardo has decorated every room with taste and style, each one different, each one with its own charm. (I know what the other rooms look like because a colleague stayed in Maison Giannino as well, and she also loved it there!). But not only are the rooms beautiful, but extremely modern: for instance, we could adjust not only the level but the color of the lights in our room, and there was a very large TV screen that was retractable with a motor: I wish every hotel had the same thing, but I have never seen a screen like that before (after staying in many, many hotels, as I travel a lot for work). The location is excellent, you are in walking distance of everything, a short walk to the beaches and marina, very close to all of the best restaurants, and just a few steps from the bus to Bari. One of the very close restaurants is Giannino's, which is also a quite extraordinary restaurant. It is unassuming looking from the outside, but inside it is very elegant and the food is very sophisticated, and overall excellent, with the same warm welcome as at Maison Giannino. I can't emphasize enough how helpful Leonardo and Roberta are, Roberta even got a same day dentist appointment for me, she is a miracle worker! They think of every little thing you could possibly need, and have the best recommendations for places to visit in the area.

I can't think of a single thing I didn't like - except that I had to go home, I was so happy there! Leonardo and Roberta think of every possible thing you might need, they anticipate your needs, whether an umbrella for the beach or any other little thing that makes your stay memorable.

An absolute pleasure to stay here. Roberta made sure we had all the details before we arrived and greeted us in person when we got there. We had a nice chat and some snacks while doing the check-in. The room we stayed in, "Ibiza," was beautifully decorated — green walls, lovely lighting and a really nice smell. The bed was extremely comfortable and a great size. The shutters on the windows worked well, and the room had access to a terrace with tables and chairs. We heard zero noise from the other rooms. The mini fridge was stocked with water and soft drinks, and there was a kettle and a Nespresso machine we could use. One day, Roberta kindly left us some coconut biscuits that were delicious. I'd really recommend this place, and we'd love to go back if we're ever in the area again.

To be picky, the toilet door is cristal. But I don’t see any other option on the layout.
