Superbe appartement plein centre de Biarritz

Location. Comfy bed. Shutters on lounge and bedroom windows blocked out morning light.

There were no instructions for anything - wifi code and network/oven and microwave/air-con/TV. Also the sink was blocked. This was mentioned in a previous review. We did find some wire in a basket which we used to unblock the sink. Settee and chair very uncomfortable.

Really nice little 2nd floor apartment, right in the very centre of Biarritz with everything within very easy walking distance. Fairly simply equipped but had everything we needed and enough kitchenware to prepare simple meals, plus the big fridge and washing machine were very useful. Wonderful views of the sunset from the front windows which also brought in a nice breeze on hot days. Incredibly handy having Carrefour and the market right there for shopping too. We had a fantastic stay and loved Biarritz and the local area.

The apartment was perfect for our family of 4 but do be aware when booking that the main bedroom only has transparent screening separating it from the living space and the 2nd bedroom is actually a small loft space just wide enough for a mattress above the bedroom which is accessed via quite a steep ladder. Our children (11 and 14) loved it but not suitable for everyone.

Hosts made arrival very easy. The apartment was well-equipped and well-designed to make use of the limited space. The location is probably the best aspect, as it's central for nearly everything. The air conditioning works well to keep the apartment cool on warm days or nights, although cool air doesn't reach the loft or bedroom very easily.

The upstairs loft bedroom is much smaller than it appears in the picture, and the primary bedroom's glass window walls don't give much privacy. Calling it two bedrooms is a bit of a stretch, as everyone also needs to share one closet/wardrobe. The bathroom sink didn't drain well, and a few other items need attention (inoperable light switches or burnt-out bulbs, parts falling off curtains, difficult to open drawer, non-functional bidet).

Really great location and cozy space, feels like home.
