Frogfish Apartment

Das Apartment war schön, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Zudem ist man direkt im Zentrum. Der Verwalter vor Ort war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Am ärgerlichsten war es, die Dachterrasse abends nicht nutzen zu können. Ab frühen Abend saß man leider im Dunst der Restaurant-Küche, welche sich direkt unter dem Apartment befindet und gegen Mitternacht wurde dann die Musik auf der Dachterrasse des Hotels nebenan bis Sonnenaufgang so laut gemacht, dass man auf der eigenen Dachterrasse regelrecht beschallt wurde. Zum schlafen im Apartment war Gehörschutz notwendig.

Brilliant location, great size and fantastic terrace. The staff were exceptional, very generous and responsive. Excellent value for money - would strongly recommend.

One of the rooms has very little light (the window opens up to a brick wall). Would’ve preferred a bit more light in there.

The wifi was strong enough for video calls and there is a table and chair for working. When the water didn't work on the first day and the wifi didn't work on the third the apt manager responded quickly to solve the problem. The location in the city, right by the bridge, is excellent. There is a rooftop deck with lights and chairs and two feral cat families, and a little bit of the sea is visible, though it is not private because of a neighbor and restaurant which both have balcony next to you. Having 4 beds in 2 bedrooms could be useful to a family.

There is zero light due to no real windows, you wake up in the morning and it's completely black. There will be some noise and music from your neighbors and the street outside, though not as bad as some places. The water in the shower is different than anywhere else I've stayed in Dahab - my soap would stick and make scum on my skin and hair, didn't in the place before or after, very strange. The bathroom often smelled quite bad. A bike was listed as being available for rent with the apartment, but after asking for it multiple times I was ignored, and the bike is quite old and dirty and left locked outside.
