Blue Residence Dahab

The hotel was good enough to spend for a couple of days, I really enjoyed the swimming pool and the quiteness during the night, the receptionists were friendly and the staff super helpful when you ask for anything, however, most of them do not speak english, so better to use a translator.

The internet was not working all the time, specially during the mornings and got too slow at night. Breakfast was served in front of the pool, the view was great but it was kinda windy so you gotta be careful when eating, it would be great if they offer from time to time different kind of food and not the same breakfast menu eveyday.

New property, clean buildings with a small-resort feel. Pool area was solid, and having breakfast served poolside was a nice touch. Staff were helpful and did what they could. Location is a fair middle ground — about 15 minutes’ walk to the beach, cafes, and market, so not isolated but not right in the middle of things either.

No water bottles or toilet paper provided in the room. Breakfast selection was limited. Internet was down for 3 days straight despite repeated requests to fix it. Amenity timing needs adjusting — breakfast should start before 8am and the gym before 9am.

The hotel room was a comfortable, good-sized one-bedroom apartment-style space with a separate lounge and kitchenette, including a microwave, fridge, kettle, and utensils. The lounge featured a sofa bed, TV, and large coffee table. The bedroom air conditioning was excellent, and while the bathroom was small, it was functional and had a good shower. The swimming pool was a great size and an excellent place to unwind, with a pool bar offering a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks. Breakfast had a very good variety, including omelettes, cheeses, cold meats, pastries, and yoghurt, which we enjoyed outside by the pool each morning. Situated in a quiet location, the hotel is around a 10-minute walk from both the beach and the centre of Dahab, with nearby shops for water and essentials. The overall atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, quiet, and chilled—perfect for unwinding after exploring Egypt’s busy sights or spending a day doing water sports. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and informative, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay.

The breakfast was not good at all, they charged us for the coffee. The WiFi was very bad that one whole day was not working and the rest the signal is far and it gets disconnected. The pool was not warmed and the dogs also cats were drinking from it.
