Great host, he gave many good tips and was responsive and kind. It’s a real Hanok guesthouse, very Korean and old-world, nice ceiling and wood construction, peaceful and beautiful courtyard, sparsely furnished in the old style but with tv, Wi-Fi, small basic bathroom with normal toilet. Sleep on the floor like real Koreans, but there are also thin mattresses in each room if it’s too much. Short walk to all old town sights and restaurants. No frills, but fun and high value. Take taxi from train station - too far to walk. Property’s kitchen is available to guests.

It's very beautiful, picture perfect, and the location is fantastic. Room sizes were big and the AC worked well, which was welcome because summer in Korea is so hot and humid. Parking wasn't available onsite (we knew in advance) but a short walk away in a paid public car park, which you can get a 50% discount on by showing your booking reservation (only 7000 Won). Staff were really friendly.

The 'beds'. I knew and expected Futons but they're essentially a couple of thin blankets, one below and one on top, on a hard floor. I'm glad we only stayed one night, if that's how people sleep normally they must lead really miserable lives. After the worst nights sleep on our entire Korea trip, we left really early as my back couldn't take any more.
