Clean room but hotel terrible . GF smelled terrible like curry no matter the time of day .Carpets yuc 🤢. Stairs just there but if someone jumps lightly probably they will collapse. Room very old stile furniture . Walls with stains . However clean rooms but cleaner can do so much within these conditions . Close to beech and shops .

Arrived here for 1 night last minute booking. Hotel is being refurbished. Wasn't sure what to expect of state of room, was very surprised when we got key and opened door it was all new, very clean and tidy. Im sure the beds we slept in has just been built. Matresss had no marks on them at all. Shower and toilet were very clean also. You can tell its all been painted etc.
Very close walk to the beach.
No distance during the night at all.
Definitely a nice quiet hotel for family with children. We had a great stay.
We will happily book this hotel again.
Keys for room.have to be collected from a different hotel part of the chain of hotels but it wasn't hard to do at all.

Definitely cheaper than usual, but definitely lacking a few things in the room, bedside lights, sockets, shower that sprays rather than leaks, toilet roll holder, windows that open properly, rather than being screwed shut or missing handles and a bed that's ridiculously firm. The photos are rather optimistic... Just one positive, it was cheap and in the right place. You even had to collect the keys from a different rather smelly hotel...
