    I needed a city centre hotel but Dublin, compared to other cities, does not do good value hotels. Compared to other hotels, the Ruby Molly wasn't too bad, although still expensive by other countries standards. I loved the slightly quirky, relaxed vibe. This involves bar staff doubling up as reception staff and the use of mini touch screens for check in. The room continued the offbeat theme as there was no bathroom as such. The sink was in the bedroom and the shower cubicle can be covered by a curtain. It all works. There's also a music and Bluetooth device to hook appliances to. Downsides, no fridge in the room and the air-conditioning control was fiddly to use. I booked on a room only basis so can't comment on the quality of the breakfast. The lobby bar and seating area have a pub feel and is very relaxing to sit in. The location is definitely central but just at the end of the main retail and commercial core. Temple Bar, main shopping areas are only 5-10 minutes walk so don't worry about the location. Overall, I'd definitely stay there again.

    We had a lovely stay at the Ruby Molly. Staff friendly, room very clean. Although I’d much rather have teas, coffee and kettle in the room rather than going to a shared galley. We also paid extra for the wow balcony room which I don’t think was worth it. Maybe if the weather was better it would’ve been but there was quite a bit of bird poo over it. We stayed for 2 nights and were offered the option of a free drink each or have housekeeping clean the room which I thought was a good idea. I’d definitely stay again, Thankyou for a lovely stay.

    We stayed at the Ruby Molly hotel for 2 nights, the staff were exceptional, friendly and helpfull. The room was very clean and comfortable. Food was very nice. Would definately recomend this hotek and would come back. Dublin is a beautiful place to visit.
