I would have given the rating an excellent, except I feel the map location and the address given in the description was a little off. We thought the house was much closer to the beach than it actually was. Having said that, the house IS beautiful and met all of our needs! If you are not interested in beach time, but want to be down south, this is the place to stay.

The Peace Vacations people were great to deal with. We had an issue during a particularly cold and snowy stretch when the pipes froze. I called and despite the conditions arrangements were made with a plumber and that matter was fixed within hours. There was always someone available for any questions that came up.

Toilet in queen bedroom is not bolted properly.
Sugar ants in kitchen.

The only thing that would have been helpful is a quick reference map or something to show how to get to the beach. Which beach is best and or general Pawleys info. I know it's all available but info not readily accessible but provided by a native would be great. Other than that a wonderful house. The refrigerator had a hiccup and we lost some ice cream but it decided to work ok for the last two days plus peace vacations responded really fast! A good experience
