About this apartment rental
Our vacation apartments are located in Binz, in the Prora district—a highlight of the island. Prora is not a town in the traditional sense. There is no town center, no church, no cemetery.... It is about 1,000 meters to the fine-sand beach, which stretches for kilometers, as well as to the Colossus of Prora (built in the 1930s by Hitler, the 4.5-kilometer-long former KdF vacation resort). The sophisticated
Baltic Sea resort of Binz is 4 km away. Here you’ll find plenty of options for entertainment, shopping, and strolling, as well as restaurants and bars. The port city of Saßnitz is 9 km away. Here you can enjoy freshly caught fish, explore the coast of Rügen by boat, set out on a wonderful beach walk along the chalk cliffs to the Königsstuhl, or simply watch the harbor life unfold on Europe’s longest pier.
The Sellin-Saßnitz bike path runs right past our house. The bus stop is 300 m away, and the train station is about 500 m away. This way, you can give your car a vacation, too. You can easily reach the beach on foot (we have a swimming beach here—it’s not just a few meters to the water), and you can explore the entire island by public transportation.
Your pet is welcome; please let us know the breed of your dog. Your dog must get along well with other dogs and people. You’ll pay 5 to 10 euros per day for your dog (depending on size). The yard is fenced, so your dog can roam freely. An initial supply of towels and bed linens is included. Wi-Fi and parking are free of charge. Unfortunately, our vacation apartments do not offer an ocean view. The property is located relatively close to the railroad tracks. The last regional train departs at 11:00 PM, and the first one at 6:00 AM. Please check the location of the vacation apartment on Google Maps before leaving a negative review about the location.
The nearest grocery store is 300 m away (Edeka). The treetop walk, the sand sculpture exhibition, and several restaurants are within walking distance.
You can park your car on our property free of charge.
Your stay in Prora is subject to a visitor’s tax. The rate is 3.40 euros per person per night year-round. Children under the age of three and individuals with a 100% disability rating (GdB) are exempt from this tax.
Payment of the rental price is only possible in cash on the day of arrival. If you prefer not to do so, please contact us. You are also welcome to pay in advance.
The rental price shown does not include the tourist tax or the

The apartment is equipped for two people and features a combined living room and bedroom with a small kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. In the courtyard, which is reserved exclusively for our guests, you can enjoy your meals, have a barbecue, or simply relax and unwind. Amenities: Satellite TV, refrigerator, induction cooktop, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker, microwave. Included: Initial supply of towels and bed linens, electricity, water, heat, parking space on the property, bike shed for your own bikes, patio furniture and grill in the courtyard, Wi-Fi. Extra: additional linen change. Pets: 3 to 10 euros per day (depending on size).
