A warm welcome to the beautiful vacation home WILHELMINE on the second floor of Villa Wiederkehr, located right on the famous Wilhelmstraße in the Baltic Sea resort town of Sellin. Villa Wiederkehr, built in the classic Bauhaus style, is centrally located at the upper end of Wilhelmstraße—yet away from the hustle and bustle. It’s about 700 meters to the historic pier with its pavilions and the fine-sand Baltic Sea beach. The beach stretches for 7 km from Sellin, past Baabe, all the way to the Baltic Sea resort of Göhren. From the pier, the “Weiße Flotte” ferry departs (seasonally) toward Binz and Sassnitz, all the way to the world-famous chalk cliffs. Starting from Villa Wiederkehr, it’s about 500 meters to Lake Sellin, which is perfect for wonderful hikes and bike rides. If you’d like to visit a restaurant, you’ll find various options in the immediate vicinity. Also nearby is the stop for the “Rasender Roland,” one of Rügen’s main attractions: the historic narrow-gauge railway powered by a steam locomotive, which takes you past the Granitz Hunting Lodge and on to Binz. Fun for young and old alike.

Since 2016, the WILHELMINE apartment—with approximately 79 m² of living space for up to 2 to 3 adults plus 1 toddler up to 3 years old in a travel crib—has offered not only three lovingly furnished rooms but also two furnished balconies with a magnificent view of the linden-lined Wilhelmstraße and the rolling hills surrounding Lake Sellin. This modern and stylishly furnished non-smoking vacation apartment impresses with its clear layout and bright, high-quality furnishings. In the living area, two elegant leather sofas, a reading lamp, a coffee table, and a leather lounge chair with a footstool invite you to relax while reading a good book or simply enjoying the tranquility of your vacation. A small selection of reading material is available for your use. A 48-inch smart TV, Blu-ray player, a mini stereo system with CD player, and free Wi-Fi provide entertainment. The adjacent kitchenette, equipped with a ceramic cooktop, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee maker, espresso maker, toaster, electric kettle, and a wide range of kitchen utensils, makes you want to let your culinary skills run wild once again. A large dining table rounds out the furnishings. The first bedroom is furnished with a Hülsta box-spring bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m), a wardrobe, nightstands, and a TV. The second bedroom features a box-spring bed (1.20 m x 2.00 m), a wardrobe, and an armchair with a table. A travel crib for children can also be provided here upon request. Health mattresses (firmness level 3/firm), pleated blinds, and blackout curtains ensure a comfortable night’s sleep in both bedrooms. The naturally lit bathroom features a shower with a rain showerhead, a bidet, a cosmetic mirror, a toilet, a heated towel rack, a hair dryer, and a vanity with an illuminated mirror. A separate guest restroom rounds out the apartment’s amenities. To enjoy the unique view of the historic houses and linden trees, you can access the furnished balconies (NE & SE) from the living area and the smaller bedroom. Here you can unwind in peace at the end of the day. A storage room in the apartment holds a vacuum cleaner, a clothes rack, an ironing board and iron, cleaning supplies, and cushions for the balcony furniture. For our younger guests, a high chair and a travel crib (without an additional mattress) are available. Hidden beneath the light-colored solid wood parquet flooring is underfloor heating that covers the entire floor, ensuring a comfortable indoor climate year-round. Your bicycles are safely stored in the spacious, lockable communal bike storage room. An elevator takes you to the 2nd floor. Pets are not allowed. A parking space (No. 08) is located directly behind the house and is secured by a gate. You can book an initial laundry package (complete set of bed linens, 1 shower towel, 2 small hand towels) for an additional fee up to 14 days before arrival, or supplement it with your own items. If you book 2 or more packages, you’ll receive 1 dish towel and 1 shower mat as a one-time bonus.
