The "Zum Lotsen" family apartment is a comfortable, approximately 72 m² non-smoking apartment on the upper floor of the Seestern building. Here you’ll find plenty of space, convenience, and comfort for your family—up to 5 adults and 1 toddler (up to 3 years old) in a travel crib. You’ll simply FEEL AT HOME! In the modern, fully equipped kitchen, you can prepare meals together. Everything you need is provided—a stove with a ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, ample storage space, and, of course, a kettle, toaster, coffee maker, and various kitchen utensils. From here, you also have access to the furnished balcony—facing west—with a view toward the Bodden. An electric awning provides shade. In front of the kitchen is a veranda that has been set up as a dining room. Here, you can enjoy your meals together and spend cozy evenings. In the living room, which features a flat-screen TV and a radio with Bluetooth, you’ll find a cozy couch area for relaxing (with the option to add a bed for a 5th person—1.40 m x 2.00 m), complete with a coffee table, reading chair, reading lamp, and sideboard. You won’t have to do without internet access (Wi-Fi) during your vacation either. It’s included for you. The spacious bedroom, featuring a box-spring bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m) and two wardrobes, also offers space for a travel crib for your youngest family member if needed. Here, the two restored arched windows evoke the former charm of the spa villa “Pension Seestern,” which we were able to have recreated based on a photo from “the old days.” Adjacent to this is a veranda: the second bedroom features a bunk bed (2 x 0.80 m x 2.00 m), which is fully furnished and includes a flat-screen TV. When the evenings get cooler, you can warm up and relax in the apartment’s own sauna. The bathroom with sauna is equipped as a shower room with a toilet, hair dryer, and towel warmer. In the separate entryway, featuring the original hardwood floor and a stone-look wall, you’ll find a large vanity with a mirror and storage space. In the living room, bedroom, kitchen, and the entryway to the bathroom, we were able to preserve the original hardwood floor and had it refinished. In the other rooms, we’ve used high-quality tile or other suitable materials. Insect screens and blackout curtains are provided. Two pets are welcome for a fee. A washer and dryer are available to all guests for a fee. These rooms are located on the courtyard side. For our younger guests, one travel crib (without an extra mattress or bedding) and one high chair are included per apartment. Your parking space (No. 4) is located on the property, along with a communal grill. You can book an initial linen package (complete set of bed linens, 1 shower towel, 2 small hand towels) for an additional fee up to 14 days before arrival, or supplement it with your own linens. If you book 2 or more packages, you’ll receive 1 dish towel and 1 shower mat as a one-time bonus.



Welcome to Haus Seestern in Thiessow,
Haus Seestern has been given a new lease on life, and four modern vacation apartments have been created following extensive renovations. We’re located on the Mönchgut Peninsula, in the former fishing village of Thiessow, at the southeastern tip of the island of Rügen, just 150 meters from the Baltic Sea beach. Here you’ll find peace and relaxation! The village is situated around the Lotsenberg; from its observation tower, you have a breathtaking panoramic view of the Baltic Sea and the Bodden. Our Haus Seestern is also located at the foot of the Lotsenberg. There are various beach sections: the East Beach with a clothed and nude area, the dog beach, the natural beach on the south side, and the West Beach. Here you’ll find excellent water sports opportunities, including a surf school. Let yourself be captivated by the beautiful natural surroundings on short hikes or bike rides here in the heart of the biosphere reserve. Our Seestern guesthouse is swallow- and bat-friendly. Where swallows nest, happiness is at home. Please note that all apartments are non-smoking, and smoking is prohibited inside the building. We hope that when you enter the house, you’ll also be reminded of—and delighted by—the era of resort architecture.
