About this cottage rental
Bempton View is a lovely property with unrestricted panoramic sea views from the balcony off the main bedroom suite. Close to the beach, playground and village centre but in a quiet corner
Enter through the side porch door into the spacious hallway with cloaks storage. To the right is a king bedroom with small TV, patio doors and ensuite shower room refitted March 2025. Continue across the hallway through to the living room. There is a large kitchen with dishwasher, tall fridge-freezer, oven, grill, hob, wine fridge, microwave and washing machine. There's a dining area with room for 10 people, and then through to the lounge area with log burner and large smart TV with netflix included. Two large sofas and an armchair and additional seating to accommodate the whole family. Bifold doors open onto the large patio with seating and brick BBQ (disposables only).
Upstairs there is the amazing main bedroom suite with an ensuite shower room, TV, and bifold doors onto the balcony with views to Bempton cliffs.
There are 2 further bedrooms - one with a kingsize bed, and the final one with bunk beds and single bed perfect for kids. These rooms share a family bathroom with bath and shower over. There is also an extra z bed suitable for a child which fits in the main bedroom.
There's a parking space for 2 cars and other spaces nearby for further vehicles. Guests have access to the dedicated EV charger - just log into the app and pay for any charge used.

Not one of my five young grandchildren got to use the pool once during our three night stay. No organisation at the pool whatsoever. Whoever manages the place couldn't manage their way down a straight road with a map. For this reason, and only this reason I could not recommend this property.

Had a great stay here . Marvellous position for access to coastal path and beach. Plenty of room for us all and beautiful views especially from the balcony. Good amenities on site but did expect a slightly bigger shop for such a large development like Filey Bay . Would certainly stay here again.

Lovely family weekend. The ground floor is all open plan a really big space for getting together and having plenty of space.
The house was clean and well equipped.
The group floor bedroom and en-suite is good for older relatives while the main bedroom with balcony has lovely views.
Will definitely return.

We have stayed many times at the bay and normally find the properties to be of a high standard. However this property is becoming dated and needs a major refresh. Location is great and there are sea views from upstairs master bedroom.
Issues which need addressing:
Stains on carpets and walls
Internal door handles need repairing
Beds are uncomfortable and very noisy
Main bifold door is broken
Upstairs balcony is dirty and needs a deep clean
Garden furniture is low quality for a house of this type and dirty
Overall the property needs investment, a full paint, new flooring and most furniture needs replacing
