About this cottage rental
Silversands House is situated on Silversands Way, the ultimate location at The Bay, with unrestricted panoramic sea views from the balcony off the upstairs living area. Close to the beach, playground and village centre.
Enter through the side porch door into the spacious hallway with cloaks storage. To the right is the first kingsize bedroom with patio doors opening on to the front seating area, then another bedroom with full-size twin beds. Both are close to the modern family bathroom with bath and shower over. Across the hall is the amazing main kingsize bedroom, with its own seating and TV area, ensuite shower room, and bifold doors opening onto the rear patio with brick built BBQ, tables, seating, and communal grounds.
Upstairs there is a further double bedroom, with ensuite shower room which also opens onto the living space. The large open plan living space comprises a kitchen with all the appliances you need for a self-catering holiday, including a wine fridge, tall fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, induction hob, electric oven, microwave and tassimo coffee machine.. There is a spacious dining area, and a living space with 3 sofas, log burner, Marshall blue tooth speaker and smart TV.
Bifold doors open up onto the large balcony with seating, and panoramic views of Filey Bay from Carr Naze to Bempton Cliffs.

Things to note:
The living space is upstairs. We do not have a stairgate due to the style of the staircase which does not enable one.
The property has 4 bedrooms, plus 2 further occasional beds for additional children, so we can accommodate up to 10 altogether, plus travel cot for baby.
Please note the parking bay sleepers can be uneven and slippery when wet and therefore this property may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Our third stay at Silversands, which speaks for itself. The house is ideal for a mixed age family, in our case, grandparents, parents and young teens, being very flexible. The site is well provided for and the location, overlooking and ten minutes traffic free walk from glorious Filey beach, is wonderful. Customer service on site has always been very good although this year we had some issues which were due to circumstances, not the fault of the service team. Paula, the manager, was, as always, very good at responding quickly and personally.

We had a lovely weekend stay with family. The house is in a great position in the complex. Bathrooms and kitchen are lovely. Living space is a great size.

We had a great time staying at Silversands House. The accommodation was beautiful. Very spacious with a gorgeous sea view. We visited as a family and there was something for everyone. The children and dog loved the beach, which was only a short walk away, and my father loved sitting on the balcony watching the view. We also enjoyed a tour of the local whisky distillery.
We really appreciated Paula’s help during our stay. She sent us all of the information we needed and responded very quickly to our calls and messages, doing everything she could to help us and to accommodate our needs. We would love to stay in the property again.

Communication was excellent. We received a text on the day to say we could access the property earlier than 5pm which was helpful. The living accommodation was spacious and great for a group of 8 of us. The only issue we had was with the TV which was painfully slow and randomly turned itself on and off! The views from the balcony were great. Access to the beach was easy and close by. We used the pool easily but it was busy at times as it was peak holiday season - they do offer adult only sessions though. The local shop and restaurants were good but pricey so we didn't use these more than once. The downstairs bedrooms offered spacious wardrobes but the bedroom upstairs had very little storage facilities- only 2 drawers. The parking next to the property was great with easy access. The virtual tour was helpful online. Thank you.
