Casa Esmeralda is a serene 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom lakefront escape located in the gated Destiny West community, comfortably sleeping up to 12 guests. This 2-story retreat pairs peaceful water views with a relaxed coastal feel, creating an inviting setting from the moment you arrive. With calm surroundings and beautifully designed interiors, the home offers a restful setting to enjoy time along the Emerald Coast.
Inside, a graceful winding staircase welcomes you into the home, opening to a bright living area that frames views of the lake. The well-equipped kitchen and adjacent dining room make entertaining simple, while 4 thoughtfully arranged bedrooms provide a calming space for guests to settle in throughout their stay. Whether enjoying unhurried mornings by the water or unwinding after a day at the beach, the home’s warm coastal style supports an easy, relaxing experience.
Outdoors, the private pool and spa overlook the lake, with comfortable loungers and a firepit set across the back patio for both daytime relaxation and evening gatherings. 1st Floor:
Kitchen: This kitchen maximizes functionality with a kitchen island and bar seating for 4. Included are stainless steel Samsung appliances and a 5-burner gas range, double toaster, Keurig, coffeepot, crockpot, griddle, and blender, as well as all the normal utensils and cookware. It is fully stocked and ready to cook for large families.
Dining Room: A formal dining room table is adjacent to the kitchen and can seat up to 8 guests. Not only can you see the TV from this space, but it also has a front-row view of the backyard and pool.
Living Room: This cozy living room is right next to the dining room and has a full-sized sofa, a loveseat, and 2 accent chairs. Watch your favorite shows on the large 55-inch, 4K flat-screen TV.
Bedroom + Bathroom #1: It has a queen-sized bed, dresser, 2 nightstands, and a flat-screen TV. It also has its own private bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Bathroom #2: This is an easily accessible bathroom adjacent to the laundry room, including a walk-in shower.
Laundry Room: Located downstairs is a washer and a dryer. You will find all of the towels stored here.

The home was perfect. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. A short trip by LSV to the beach. They allowed us to have our small dog and company. Worked with Travel Life Vacations and they were helpful and easy to work with. The home was very clean and had everything you would need in a kitchen. Full laundry available. Highly recommended.

Nice house in a great location. Potential guests make sure you read the full description regarding an extra cost to heat the hot tub / pool. Seems like we paid enough to at least have the hot tub heated without an added cost! Also wish check in time was earlier and I don’t agree with the checkout procedures (having to empty the dishwasher and to have all towels washed, dried and put up). What does the cleaning crew do? Lol Also, no instructions on how to light the fire pit. Other than these issues, we had a great time.

First and foremost let me say that the house itself is beautiful and in an amazing location, you really are a 5-10 minute walk from the beach. And as a pleasant surprise we found out upon arrival that the rental comes with a golf cart. We had a wonderful weekend, but there were a few things that we were unaware of and want to post so that future guests are aware.
- The check-in time is 5:00 PM, not 4:00 as says in the website, and I was not informed of this until 3 days prior to travel.
- There are no beach/pool towels for guests to use so make sure to pack them.
- There are no kitchen “staple” items (olive oil and s&p).
- We were unable to find directions on how to light the fire pit.
- The house next door (to the right) is in the process of being built, and there were construction vehicles parking in our driveway. Also, the crew works on Saturdays and the houses are VERY close to each other, so if you are planning on having a pool party or bbq you may want to have it on Sunday.
- We were unable to locate/use the outdoor trash and recycling bins (as required per the checkout instructions). There was 1 trash bin, but it was full of construction debris from next door and no recycling bin.
