This was not our first choice. We chose a rental property much closer to the beach, but the AC broke days before our arrival. We chose Viewtastic based on photos and a time crunch. Cobb was very accommodating to offer us 3 properties to choose from. The only downside to this property was the patio furniture is very uncomfortable. For us anyway. There were no games indoor or outdoors to help entertain the kids. And the dishwasher was broken. It’s a bummer to hand wash dishes on your mini vacation. I know these are 1st world problems. Another issue we all had was the amount of “check out chores” required by Cobb. While I do expect that everyone respects the property they’re briefly staying in, it’s asking quite a lot for the guests to strip all the beds, put all the linen in specific piles in specific areas of the house, wash all the dishes, put away all dishes and take out all the trash and replace all trash liners, replace all the pillows on the beds they belong to.....on and on. I assume they’ve had bad experiences in the past? Or possibly not a very well equipped cleaning service? Regardless, it was tedious and a lot of work but everyone pitched in, as they should. The good part was that it was a clean, cool, quiet place to stay. No places to explore around the house. Nice to have the lift for “no more than 50lbs” of luggage.
