This home was perfect for our family! We had one child, and four adults. We all had the space we needed, along with gathering spaces both inside and out to play games, visit, eat, bonfire, etc. The private beach is maybe a quarter mile down the road, and on the other side of the main road. Once you get there is is absolutely perfect! It’s quiet, the water is great and the wagon and toys they provide for you to bring if you want are a lot of fun! Perfect location for both getting downtown for food or the marina, and in the opposite direction to go into Oscoda for hiking and viewing. We loved our time here and the hosts really thought out all of the details to make sure it’s a great stay!

The cottage had everything we needed. It was immaculately clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the host was helpful. That said, we probably would not stay here again because there was a lot of highway noise from US 23 and we prefer to stay somewhere where we can take walks or ride bikes without having to drive somewhere. The private beach is beautiful and you can walk about a mile down that beach but to get there you have to walk along the highway and that was stressful because of the constant, high speed traffic. We ended up driving to our favorite beaches in East Tawas and Tawas and didn’t use the private beach.

We were very pleased with the amenities The host truly thought of everything especially with the age range. The house was very clean. We liked the TV’s in the rooms and large bedroom upstairs. The beach was difficult to find but there are so many beaches around we enjoyed the public beach. Wished the air worked upstairs as it very warm outside.
