About this house rental
Il Borgo is a spacious 2 bedroom house nestled in the beautiful Abruzzo countryside. It has a modern fully equiped kitchen, comfortable airy lounge with tv, workdesk and piano.
Upstairs there is a bathroom with a shower,and first bedroom with 2 single beds. The next is the master bedroom with a double bed, leading out to the terrace which faces the Gran sasso mountains, where you can catch the fresh breeze, sunbathe, or star gaze at night.
It has easy free parking outside and full access to the pergola with dining and bbq equipment for your use. There are stunning views at all angles, of the local villages set on rolling hills of the valle, calanchis and the magnificent Gran Sasso mountains.
The owner Manolo produces organic extra virgin olive oil and pasta, with the laboratory right there. His partner Isabel is a massage therapist and yoga teacher,with her studio next door.
The local area offers peace of mind to its guests, with many country walks just outside, or trips to the mountains within a 40 min drive. Beach days, lazy or sporty are within a 30 minute drive to reach the beautiful Adriatic coastline. There are many delicious local restaurants closeby, and in summer village festas to enjoy an authentic italian experience.

Great location to allow easy access to other areas in the region. House has all you require for a relaxed getaway. Great views from the sun terrace. Definitely recommend.

We immediately felt at home, a nice and clean house from which you can take beautiful walks in the mountains and hills. Beautiful beaches are not far away. We enjoyed our stay.

Had a wonderful stay in this delightful house with fantastic mountain views. The house is nestled into a small hamlet and the owners have a massage studio right next door! I have to say my massage with Isabel was one of the best massages I have ever had! Sheer bliss! They also produce organic olive oil which was fascinating to learn about (and delicious!) We loved sitting under the pergola in the evening with a glass of wine. There is so much to explore in this area, we did an amazing hike in the Calanchi (which is 10 mins up the road) and the views took my breath away. Manolo and Isabel were so friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to visit and eat. We had a lovely time.
