About this house rental
This modern Downtown Monument retreat has plenty of space to relax with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and ample space to accommodate you comfortably. The main bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed, while the second bedroom offers a full-sized bed and a desk. The third bedroom is a super fun bunk house perfect for kids or a group of friends with four twin-size beds, including two bunk beds. You will love the mountain views, walkability to Downtown Monument, and hiking/biking trails. Just to let you know, we have a train that goes through Monument. There is a noise ordinance, so the trains cannot use their whistle, but we do have a train track.

The house is clean, well equipped, and in a nice location. There was a good amount of space for 6 of us. The train is pretty frequent, but with ear plugs and a fan running at night it was pretty unnoticeable. We made the mistake the first night of not checking that the window was closed in the primary bedroom, and that made the train a lot more noticeable. Communication with the host was good, and the mountains and Colorado Springs weren't far away. We enjoyed hiking the Palmer Lake Reservoir trail. Overall it was a really good three day weekend get-away!

Wonderful location. Good view out to the range from the master bedroom. Very clean and cozy for our stay.People mention a train that passes by on the tracks right behind the house. We barely heard it at all during our stay. So I don't think it's something that should sway you away from this amazing place to stay.

The home was clean and comfortable. Great price for our group. The only thing is the train tracks are right behind the house and the train comes through multiple times a day and night. I slept with headphones, so it was fine. That is my only warning. Otherwise, clean, nicely updated, and more room on the inside than you think. Totally worth being outside of Colorado Springs.
