Klein gebrek aan privacy in de tuin

We stayed at A Due Passi as a family of four and overall had a very comfortable, memorable stay. Host & check-in: The host was warm and accommodating, and she met us in person to hand over the keys. Since it was a holiday and many cafés and shops were closed, she thoughtfully stocked the apartment with snacks (chips and cookies), pasta with bottled sauce, and juice in case we couldn’t find anything open. That extra care was genuinely appreciated. She also allowed us to check in early because the previous guests left earlier, which gave us more time to explore Florence. Apartment & facilities: Facilities were above average and the apartment was very clean. The washing machine was easy to use and detergent was provided—super helpful when traveling. The space worked well for us: the bedroom and living room were spacious, with cabinets that made it easy to organize our travel cubes and luggage. The lighting throughout the home was also really nice and made the place feel cozy. The kitchen was a highlight—well set up for cooking and eating in, with basic herbs/seasoning and even olive oil. Utensils and plates felt new and in good condition. We also appreciated that rubbish could be properly segregated. Location: The area felt quiet and safe, and it’s walkable to the station and the city center (around 30 minutes), though we used taxis for transfers to save time—just note that taxis in Florence felt noticeably more expensive than in Rome. We didn’t find a mini-mart very close by, but there were cafés a couple of corners down. Value: Value for money is good and competitive, though slightly on the pricey side considering it’s not right in the center. That said, the comfort, cleanliness, and host’s thoughtful touches made the stay feel worth it.

Bathroom: There is a bin in the bathroom (a plus), though counter/storage space for toiletries was limited for four people. Hot water was available, but it was more lukewarm than truly hot, and the shower worked better when holding the nozzle closer rather than using it like a fixed shower head.
