Il cottage Stabia Centro

The location of the property was super convenient - close to two railway stations: Castellamare di Stabia or Via Nocera. Also, the town itself is a great location, you can easily get from there by train to Pompeii, Ercolano, Napoli or Sorrento. There is a train line Circumvesuviana and it's fantastic, although the trains may get quite full sometimes. The apartment itself had a huge kitchen, very comfortable to prepare food and spend time when it rained. There were some plates, cups, a small coffee percolator, cutlery, so this was very handy. There was also a big fridge. The communication with the host Alfonso was very good as well. We had a slight problem with a leak in the kitchen but he fixed it very quickly and everything was fine afterwards. Please note, the apartment is located on the 4th floor and there is no lift so bear that mind if you have mobility issues or very heavy luggage.

The bathroom was slightly inconvenient because it was a kind of en suite to the large room. If you stayed in the small room, you had to enter the big room to go to the toilet. If you stay with a family or trusted friends, it shouldn't be a problem but is a slight inconvenience. Maybe something like a curtain could help to maintain the privacy of the guests in the large room. However, it is not a huge complaint. Another thing, it would have been helpful to have more hooks for the towels and better hangers for clothes in the small room. The property may get a bit cold if the temperature outside goes down. There is an air-con in the kitchen but it's only there so may not be sufficient. But I had warm clothes so I wore those at night and used two blankets. But again, it's not a huge complaint, it's just something to be aware of and prepare for.

Bathroom needs a renovation and smells in the evenings. The apartment is on the top floor and there is no elevator.

Las 3 plantas de escaleras

Lo único que me gustó es que estaba cerca de la costa Amalfitana y que era económico. Limpio para el estado en que se encuentra.

Vivienda poco cómoda, malos tramos de escalera y zona oscura. No hay microondas, una sola sartén….escaso menaje de cocina y nada para limpieza. Lo peor es que el baño está integrado dentro de una habitación por lo que el resto de huéspedes tienen que pasar por la misma para entrar al baño.
