La Dimora del Viaggiatore

The host was very friendly and responsive and saved me from disaster when we returned late on our first night and had forgotten to take the entry card with us. Luckily he answered the phone (it was very late) and reset the code for me (Grazie mille!). The apartment was spacious and very clean and having two showers/toilets was very helpful when travelling in a group. The single bed wasnt made up which I was expecting but there were two very good sized large double beds. Plenty of towels too which was good. Location was straightforward and close to the main road and we found parking in the roads nearby. The town was quiet and safe - on the Friday night everyone came out with their kids and it seemed to come alive. All in all a very pleasant stay and location was good for visiting Pompei etc.

The area itself is a little run down and out of season - I expect in the height of the summer the restaurants are all busy. But everyone was very friendly. There was a lot of rubbish around the street and weeds etc and the beach was definitely not a beach that you would want to sit on (covered in debris) - but excellent sunsets! The apartment was also a little further than I would have liked for walking to find breakfast etc.

Appartamento ampio, completamente ristrutturato, curato in tutti i dettagli. Addirittura più bello rispetto alle foto. Il gestore e’ stato molto preciso e gentile per permetterci di usufruire dei servizi nella massima semplicità. Consigliatissimo

Impossibile trovare difetti

I had a wonderful stay at La Dimora del Viaggiatore in Castellammare di Stabia. The apartment was spotless, very well equipped with everything I needed, and tastefully decorated, making it feel like a real home away from home. The location was excellent – close to the city center, the waterfront, and convenient for visiting nearby attractions like Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast.

The only small downside was that the street was quite busy and noisy at night, but this seems to be the general vibe of the whole city.

Part melletti utcában volt, 10 perc séta az állomástól. A bejárat előtt tudtunk parkolni a motorokkal. Autóval is van lehetőség parkolni.

Kicsit a bejárat nem túl szép, de Nápolyban és környéken mind hasonló.
