We had a really lovely stay at Villa Amalfi and would definitely recommend it. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the main street, restaurants, shops and everything Port Douglas has to offer. The property itself was excellent, beautifully presented, comfortable and a great place to come back to after a day exploring.
The only thing to be aware of is that it can be quite noisy in the mornings. We found leaf blowers around town often started from around 7am, along with early deliveries to the café across the road and noise from nearby worksites and trucks. We are early risers, so this wasn't too much of an issue. Of course, this is completely outside Villa Amalfi’s control, but it may be worth knowing if you’re a light sleeper or enjoy sleep ins on holidays.

It was a lovely property, right on the Main Street of Port Douglas. It was perfect for 4 couples - having a bedroom and bathroom each! The facilities were great!
