Great location! Very close to the base to attend my sons family day and graduation. Just the right size for my family.

We stayed 5 nights, so needed more than 2 rolls of toilet paper. There also was not any tissues/kleenex. We just went to the store and got some though.

The back deck is huge and lovely at night with the lights. The kitchen is smaller than the photos but easy to navigate.

There's one bathroom and it's small. The frame on the king-sized bed was broken and fell under us as soon as the first person sat down. Thankfully, they moved quickly to relocate us to another house in the area.

It was well cleaned and the interior design looks great. The location was a great convenience to the base and other stores nearby.

We liked the location. We were in town for our son‘s graduation from basic training at Fort Jackson. I liked that there was a dishwasher and a washing machine and dryer.

It is pretty rundown with some fairly easy fixes that would improve it significantly. The cleaners could definitely do a better job. Some thing’s seemed freshly clean, but the baseboards were very dirty which to me seemed like a very easy thing for a cleaner to keep clean and maybe cockroaches are normal in the south, but we saw several cockroaches. The Internet was very spotty, which the host said was a neighborhood problem, but then I went back and saw that other guests had reported the same problem months ago. The back deck definitely seems unsafe if you have a little ones. It seems like they went with some pretty cheap furniture, which will quickly get worse. The kitchen is not very stocked, so if you plan on doing any cooking, you are going to need to go out and get some essentials that I feel like most homes that we have rented keep stocked. We had to go out and buy toilet paper, which I see another guest commented on. We also had to go out and buy soap. They did not leave dish soap and the soap in the bathroom was a tiny hotel bar of soap and a very tiny bottle of shampoo and conditioner. It’s a three bedroom house, so you can imagine that more than one person took one shower. The management seems responsive, but if they are not fixing problems that other guests have complained about that’s a little bit of a red flag. I hope that they will take this feedback. The location for families coming to Fort Jackson is perfect, so hopefully they can improve.
