All the staff are really friendly, helpfull and welcoming! Especially Useif helped us a great deal with everything! Its a nice place. Its full in the center of downtown. The beds are good. We slept very well. Full recomendation!

Very well located, easy to get everywhere and easy to find cheap food nearby. Staff are very kind and helpful but special mention to the night shift man who always prepare us an early breakfast almost everyday (his name is Ahmed or Mohamed, I don’t know). He was a gem ! Very kind, calm, soft and always have these special attention for us and for the kids everytime. Room was in general comfortable and have enough space to put our stuff. Staff always have been a good advisor for where to eat. Money changer just behind the hotel. Fixed price supermarket (hammam market) within 5 min. They can clean your room anytime you ask for it.

Like all hotel in the city center, I guess, we heard a lot of noises from the street. If you are sensitive, better to get something to protect your ear. It’s more quiet after 1 am to 6 am. Breakfast quality and quantity depends on who prepare it for you. Difficult to have a water on breakfast time as they only offer tea or coffee, which is not suitable for small kids. Depends on the morning, We haven’t been offered any drinks for kids for their breakfast. (the night shift guy was a gem and always make sure we have water for the kid’s breakfast. Can’t thank him enough for his delicate attention). The bed is a bit hard but ok for young people. Old people or people with back issues may find it hard for their back.

Location and price and friendly and helpful staff are the key reasons to go back. The staff helped us by going out of the way to make things convenient and were very friendly. The food was great and some fab restaurants around the hotel and great shopping within 2-3 minutes walk. They also arranged car rides and the staff helped us in shopping. They really went out of their way to help us

The building was old and the hotel at 4th floor so their elevator is a dangerous one. Just about enough to take the bags up. The city center has its other disadvantages that the hotel cannot help, for example, mosquitoes and hundreds of stray cats that bother you in the hotel too. But apply bug spray and keep food in the fridge and you are good.

Mi dispiace molto fare recensioni negative (se guardate il mio profilo il 95% delle recensioni sono 9 o 10…preferisco recensire quando sto particolarmente bene in una struttura), però credo nel potere delle recensioni - essendo una persona che le controlla nel dettaglio quando organizza un viaggio - dunque mi sembra giusto nei confronti degli altri viaggiatori raccontare la nostra esperienza. Posizione: L’hotel si trova in una posizione discreta, vicino a piazza Tahrir. Ci sono molti locali sotto l’hotel quindi non sembra troppo pericoloso camminare di notte…tuttavia al Cairo è fortemente sconsigliato (e ve lo confermiamo al 100%) muoversi a piedi quando diventa buio, quindi questo aspetto positivo influisce poco se vi fate scaricare da Uber/taxi davanti al portone (che è quello che vi consigliamo di fare)

Struttura e Camera: la struttura è da brividi…si trova al 4º piano di un palazzo completamente in degrado, con un ascensore tenuto da una corda che ispira poca sicurezza e le scale forse sono peggio, con calcinacci e spazzatura… All’interno la struttura è abbastanza pulita, le camere sono molto spaziose, la doccia funziona male (l’acqua viene molto piano). Colazione: male. semplicemente viene servita una piccola frittata, il pane tipico egiziano (sempre abbastanza secco, non fresco) con marmellate confezionate, e un po’ di frutta e verdura…molto povera sia in termini di quantità che di varietà. Ripeto: mi dispiace, ma è giusto lasciare questa recensione perché, da europei, non so come si possa pensare a questa struttura come una struttura da 9 su 10 di valutazione…evidentemente gli standard del Cairo sono molto bassi, ma questa è una struttura che, anche al Cairo, non può avere la sufficienza…è vero, quando si fa una recensione, bisogna un minimo tenere conto del contesto in cui ci troviamo, ma è necessario anche cercare di avere una visione universale (non si può dire “Siamo al Cairo, allora va bene tutto”)…anche rispetto alle altre strutture dove abbiamo alloggiato ad Aswan e Luxor, questa è per distacco la peggiore…mi dispiace…spero che i gestori possano cogliere degli spunti per migliorare il migliorabile (colazione, doccia, un po’ di pulizia, pulizia delle scale (?))...
