Great view from the lounge and nice large Smart TV
The mother and daughter allow access when you arrive but we felt they they are overly protective of the apartment. For example we were told not to try and alter the height of the rain shower head, not to leave the balcony door handle at an angle, not to lock the main entrance door and other things which made us think they were treating us like we have never stayed in an apartment before! They also sent us too many messages to the point it was annoying.
We were also told not to eat at the kebab shop nearby even though it has a 5 star Google review!
If you are the owner and reading this then you need to let your customers just get on with their stay and not make us feel like we might do something wrong.
Other issues:
We were not informed in advance that we could have unloaded our bags outside the entrance even though they knew we were arriving by motorcycle. Parking can be difficult as the road outside is quite busy. You may have to park in the large harbour area car park.
The apartment was a bit chilly at times (we stayed in late June) and we needed to use the panel heater in the lounge. The heater would not give sufficient heat if you were staying in winter.
The rear bedroom window overlooks the entrance to the flat next door. If you don't have the blinds down then you will have no privacy.

This was our favorite stay of the 14 places we stayed during our Portugal/Spain trip. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope that we or loved ones can return someday. The family hosting is absolutely wonderful, kind, accommodating, and talented. The house is filled with hand crafted gems and the view is breathtaking to the point that we went the grocery store and ate on the balcony for dinner. Thank you very much for hosting us! We cannot wait for the next time we visit.
