About this hostel
Red Rocks practices global citizenship. We work in close partnership with local communities of the Nyakinama village and supporters worldwide to address global challenges such as loss of biodiversity and erosion of Rwandese cultural identity.
We invite the private sector, civil society and travelers to become involved by contributing ideas and expertise. Our overarching strategy is showcasing sustainable destination development - catalyzing others to do the same. At Red Rocks there are many opportunities for every kind of person to volunteer out whether you’re interested in teaching, farming, business, entrepreneurship or healthcare there is a project for you. It is a pride in finding the right people for the right job and believe it’s important that you do what you’re passionate about so when it comes to volunteering with us and our community, it is ultimately your decision as to what area you go into and at any stage.
