Ons Huisje Achter

Het zag er allemaal als nieuw uit, alles was aanwezig . Je greep niet mis.

Het enige minpuntje heeft mijn man al aangegeven. Er waren geen horren. En vooral de openslaande deuren in de woonkamer zagen allerlei wezentjes als een vrijbrief om binnen te komen.

The cottage is beautiful inside and out. It was exceptionally clean and well kept. There are lots of amazing smart features inside, including remote control blinds, boiling water tap and an absolute hit with our family that was the bluetooth speakers in the bathroom ceiling. We only stayed for 2 nights and did not spend that much time in the property, but if we had, there was lots to do, including games, a working Wii platform, an amazing professional-style cooker/oven and even a terrace to sit out on. We saw beautiful chickens roaming around the property every day and it was lovely. Super quiet and serene. Bedsheets were amazingly soft and we all slept so well. Everything in the property has been thoughtfully prepared and we had everything we needed (e.g. there were phone chargers/plugs available, as well as a coffee machine with plenty of coffee pods). We were 5 adults (a family) staying and there was plenty of space for us all. Although there is only one full bathroom with a shower, there is a separate small toilet downstairs and so that worked fine for us.

We loved everything. I guess the only theoretical drawback would be lack of easy public transport access into Amsterdam city centre, but we knew this and chose this place deliberately for a village-style peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of a large city. We loved hearing birdsong upon waking up and not being bothered by any noise pollution. We had a car and access into Amsterdam city centre and the airport with the car was very convenient.

Netjes

Gevaarlijke trap voor peuters-kleuters. Geen hekkentje boven aanwezig. Traag internet TV, veel buffering. Buiten niet afgesloten. Meteen op oprit van drukke autogarage, met veel passage op weekdagen, waardoor de kindjes niet echt buiten konden spelen. Fietsenstalling niet aanwezig, is een fietsstreek... dus wel jammer.
