Dusk 2 Dawn Self Catering Guest House

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My wife and I recently got married, and we had such an amazing stay at Dusk to Dawn! Our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. He was incredibly friendly, came out to help carry our bags, and even offered to braai our meat for us. Nothing was too much trouble, and he genuinely made sure we had everything we needed. What made our stay even more special was the thoughtful surprise he prepared for us. Since we had just gotten married, he put together a beautiful little setup to congratulate us. It was such a kind and personal touch that meant a lot to us and made our stay even more memorable. The guest house itself was absolutely stunning, spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. Everything was clean and inviting, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time there. The location is also very convenient, with shops only about 8 minutes away, so everything we needed was close by. A huge thank you to our wonderful host for his exceptional hospitality and for making our stay so special. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend Dusk to Dawn to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay.

The location was exactly where we needed to be... right by Panorama hospital.

It felt just like home. I usually shy away from bookings that are incorporated into another’s home. But this was exceptionally private. Private entrance, access to a pool and patio, completely secure and comfortable. Vince was such an amazing host, right from reception to regaling us with his stories. The best part of my stay in Cape Town so far, and earmarked for booking in future.

Saubere Bettwäsche und saubere Handtücher, zentrale Lage außerhalb der Downtown. Da der Pool nicht nutzbar war, hat uns der Vermieter nach unserer nachdrücklichen Beschwerde eine höherwertige, blitzsaubere Unterkunft mit Pool vermittelt. Die Mehrkosten für 2 Tage hat er übernommen.

Wir wurden anscheinend nicht erwartet. Um 15.00 Uhr musste erst noch das Schlafzimmer und die Handtücher gerichtet werden. Die Küchengeräte waren nur teilweise nutzbar. Neuer Elektroherd war nicht in Betrieb. Als Ausgleich war eine Induktionskochplatte vorhanden, auf der jedoch nicht alle Töpfe funktionierten. Die größte Enttäuschung war jedoch, das der Pool schon längere Zeit außer Betrieb und nicht nutzbar war und wir nicht informiert wurden. Laut Vermieter waren wir telefonisch nicht erreichbar. Erstaunlicherweise war die Kommunikation über das Booking.com Portal problemlos möglich. Meine Nachrichten hat der Vermieter sofort erhalten. Am 2.Tag konnten wir nicht mehr draußen frühstücken wegen Staub und vom Lärm der Bauarbeiten. Von Wohlfühlambiente außerhalb nichts zu spüren. Was uns sehr verärgert hat, war das versucht wurde das Problem auf unsere Nichterreichbarkeit zu schieben anstatt sich mit dem Buchungsportal zu beschäftigen. Erst nach unserer Abreise bekamen wir eine Nachricht von Vermieter per Booking.com. Also geht es doch. Diesen Ärger brauche ich im Uraub nicht mehr.
