Casa do Lombo

We loved the property! A highlight was the outdoor space including an outdoor under cover cooking area and a lovely terrace overlooking the valley The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you needed. There were items that made life simple including tea bags, coffee and some lovely treats in the fridge too! We really felt comfortable there, the beds had firm memory foam mattresses which ensured a good nights sleep. The shower was great too You need a car as the Casa is out of the way from the main tourist area but it’s a perfect place to experience real Madeira. The road up to the parking area is steep and there’s a short walk to the property. It was an excellent base for our week exploring the island. Fábio was an excellent host and answered every question we had including good places to eat, where to shop etc

Nets at windows to keep any mosquitoes out at night would be a great addition
