We really enjoyed our stay. The property is a unique old farmhouse full of character and charm, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. It was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and made for a peaceful overnight stay. The traditional stone building gave it a really authentic Madeiran feel
There wasn’t anything major to dislike. If anything, the access path is quite narrow and a small walk from the parking, but that’s to be expected in this part of Madeira and adds to the character of the location.

We had a lovely stay in this very nicely refurbished house.
The beds are great, though a little bit on the firm side.
The view is stunning, so nice to sit on the terras overlooking the valley after a long day of hiking.
The only downside was the somewhat difficult shower, it took some time to get it working.

C'est une maison typique de la région et la rénovation a été bien faite. L'hôte a été très réactif lorsque nous lui avons dit que la maison était froide et humide. Il nous a fait livrer 2 petits souffleurs électriques. Il était toujours attentif à notre confort. La vue est belle et on imagine que ce petit quartier a du être très vivant à une certaine époque. On y voit la trace de l'activité qui existe encore un peu aujourd'hui : venelles, terrasses en culture...
La maison doit être confortable en été mais en hiver elle est sombre froide et humide. Elle est un peu compliquée d'accès. Le prix est un peu élevé pour la prestation. Les photos la rendent plus lumineuse et attrayante qu'elle ne l'est en réalité. Mais cela est dû à la saison et la météo. En été elle doit être agréable avec sa belle terrasse et son barbecue.
