Beautiful, bright apartment with lots of character and a lovely view!

Located right at the city centre, the apartment is just a a few minute's walk away from numerous restaurants, supermarkets and shops and only a 10 minute walk from the Gouda train and bus station. Additionally, it has a lovely view overlooking the city hall and right behind the apartment is the Saint John-church; from which you get to hear the bells ringing throughout the day. The apartment is bright with plenty natural light during the day and in the evening the sunlight streams through the windows making the apartment feel even more cozy.

Upon my arrival, the keys were not in the lockbox as had been communicated. However, the concierge was able to let me in and kindly helped me with my bags. The host dropped off the keys later, but communication on this was lacking. I was also disappointed to find that some areas of the apartment were not clean, and given the price, I expected more in that regard.

I’m so upset to let you guys know this place was a disaster. broken sofa 🛋️ very bad an unbalance bed 🛏️ so uncomfortable to sleep become they put two single mattresses beside each other to make a king bed and they were not a same height. Also it was so noisy till 4 o’clock 🕓 in a morning impossible to sleep. Small hall way with a very dangerous stairs. Price wasn’t fair for that much problems and also we told the house owner. Well I want to have a conversation in return.

No parking as identified when we booked on the day so we had to park some distance away at an unexpected cost of €22 per day Did not know when booking that cars not allowed near apartment except between 7-9 pm Entrance to property unclean and broken tile on uneven floor Smell of plasterboard thought passage areas as it seems hallways are being decorated Stairs to 2F were extremely steep and narrow and as we are both over 70 we struggled to take our luggage up When we actually booked on the day the photos on booking.com were not the photos of this particular apartment No air conditioning as stated

Wonderful stay in Gouda

The best location in all of Gouda. From Room 2F you get a wonderful view of the markets on Thursdays and Saturdays. Lots of cozy little bars and restaurants are right below. Malika was very helpful even getting us a toaster because there was not one in the unit. Hamid helped us get the luggage’s into the apartment. Very friendly and helpful.

The bed was not comfortable unfortunately.

Beautiful location, premium finishes, luxury for a bargain

Finding a property with prime location, premium appliances and finishes, top notch service, and at a bargain price is so rare. We thoroughly enjoyed having a beautiful view of downtown gouda witht he option of walking back to the apartment to drop off souvenirs we purchased. Gouda is a quaint town with friendly people, accessible transportation, and great food.

I had to review the check in instructions a few times to find the lock box but they were definitely accurate. Some pictures of the door(s) might make finding the apartment a little easier. Malika quickly responded to questions and helped anytime I had a question.

Excellent location, nice view to market square. Furniture in ok condition. Easy to get in. Shower very good. Host very helpful.

Some of the cutlery not clean enough. Apartment bit dusty in some places. More instructions how to get TV working and temperature control would help.

Top, gezellige accomodatei in een mooie stad.

Locatie is uitstekend, met uitzicht op de Markt/Stadhuis. Accomodatie mooi, ruim en goed schoon. Een tip: een schemerlamp in de woonkamer zou het meer romantischer maken.

Matras had beter gekund, het is te zacht, je ligt hierdoor in een kuil. Verder geen bijzonderheden

Mooie locatie, met veel luxe. Met erg steile trap.

De locatie, maar zoals een filosoof al zei "ieder Voordeel hep een nadeel "de auto konden we er in de buurt niet kwijt. Naderhand bleek dat mee te vallen, maar daar kwamen we per ongeluk achter. klein amerika is een parkeerplek vlak bij. De trap was wel een dingetje als je niet een atletisch type ben. Verder was het erg luxueus.

Sinceramente nos a encantado!! no solo por el departamento que mejor situado imposible, lo tienes todo a mano y Justo en el casco histórico de gouda y en la plaza donde siempre hay cosas que ver, tiendas a mano y lugares de interés a minutos, mercadillos y ferias toda la semana y el mercado del queso maravilloso, el departamento tiene unas vistas preciosas, todo muy cómodo y bien repartido, los anfitriones muy amables y dispuestos ayudarnos en todo lo posible, estación de tren a 8 minutos a pie donde hay trenes que te llevan a todas partes sin problema alguno, lo recomiendo al 100%

Fantastische locatie en appartement

Locatie was fantastisch en het appartement ook. Het uitzicht vanuit het appartement met de aparte slaapkamer is aan te raden.

De telefoon van de host was kapot, waardoor er wat fouten werden gemaakt. We werden naar het verkeerde appartement gestuurd en er stonden plots na een paar keer gewriemel aan onze deur, vreemde mensen in ons appartement die dezelfde sleutel hadden gekregen. Na telefonisch contact met ‘een vriend’ van de host was de oplossing dat we zelf met de andere mensen moesten bepalen wie welke kamer kreeg. Dit vond ik niet zo netjes wanneer de host zelf de fout maakt. Onze geboekte kamer was duurder en groter en er werd verder niet tegemoet gekomen, dus besloten we te verkassen. Mocht er een vergoeding zijn, dan waren we gebleven en was extra schoonmaak niet nodig geweest. We hoefden de toeristenbelasting uiteindelijk niet te betalen en dat losten het voor ons wel op, maar echt rustig was het hierdoor niet. De host zelf vond ik wel netjes in communicatie toen haar mobiel het weer deed. En.. een foutje kan gebeuren. Ze heeft haar excuses aangeboden en dat verdiend een pluim.

Toffe locatie, mooie ruimtes en mooie badkamer

Het waren ruime kamers met een fantastisch uitzicht op de markt. De verhuurders waren erg vriendelijk en indien nodig behulpzaam.

Het bed had een te zachte matras waardoor de nachtrust onvoldoende was. Er was ook geen microgolfoven aanwezig wat spijtig was.

Als je een weekendje wilt genieten van Gouda is dit een prima onderkomen!

De locatie is geweldig! Beter kan je je niet wensen. Het appartement is netjes, goede keuken, lekker ruim en voorzien van alles wat je in een weekend nodig hebt. Communicatie met eigenaar is perfect!

De bedden waren niet echt geweldig. Te zacht. Voor vier personen is het slapen op een bedbank wel echt heel matig! De stijle trap is natuurlijk ook listig. Niet geschikt voor oude mensen of voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. De badkamer is erg klein en wordt al snel een waterballet. Maar kom op...voor een weekend is het prima.

Perfekte Lage, geräumige Wohnung

Besonders toll war die Lage mitten im Stadtzentrum, alles fußläufig zu erreichen, viele Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe. Die Vermieterin hat uns auch eine kostenlose Fahrradgarage empfohlen in der unsere Räder sicher untergebracht waren (schließt über Nacht bitte beachten Sie die Öffnungszeiten wenn Sie früh loswollen). Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war schnell und unkompliziert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

Für uns war die Unterkunft perfekt, sind als Familie gereist darum waren Doppelbett, ausziehbarer schlafsessel und sofa groß genug. Die Stiegen zum Apartment sind sehr steil und Sie sollten einigermaßen mobil sein um dort rauf und runter zu kommen. War für uns aber auch kein Problem

Varasimme hotellin Bookingin kautta. Saavuimme sateessa kaupunkiin, Gouda. Pitkän etsimisen kautta löysimme osoitteen. Viereisen ravintolan henkilökunta ei tiennyt siinä olevan hotellia. Seisomme ovella. Soitimme annettuun puhelin numeroon. Kolme kertaa. Pyysimme viereisen ravintolan kokkia tarkistamaan, että netissä oleva puhelinnumero on oikein. Jätimme soittopyynnön. Emme saaneet vastausta. Lähetimme whatapp viesti . Ei vastausta. Lähetimme sähköpostiviestin. Ei vastausta. Ja vettä satoi. Oli kylmä. Raha oli kyllä mennyt tililtä. Siinä tilanteessa ei auttanut muu kuin varata toinen hotelli. Meidän onneksemme saimme kuin saimmekin. Majoittajan viesti tuli tunteja myöhemmin. Liian myöhään. Oli varattu uusi huone. Ja maksettu siitä enemmän. Jäin todella huono maku. Nyt yritämme löytää keinoa millä saamme rahat takaisin.

Emme tiedä mitä olisi ollut jos olisimme päässeet sisälle ja majoittumaan.

Leuke locatie

De locatie was geweldig, alles op loopafstand en een fantastisch uitzicht.

De laatste steile trap, vooral omdat een van de trapleuningen heel los zat.

Mixed feelings!

Prachtige locatie! Wat wel echt minpunten waren voor ons; we kregen vooraf geen contact met de eigenaresse( 3 x gebeld, voicemail ingesproken)geappt via booking niks lukte) pas 20 minuten voor aankomst wat info. Geen reactie op onze vragen. Nergens wifi code te vinden uiteindelijk gevraagd via app. Er werd onder ons verbouwd, geen probleem maar dat hoorden wij kort vantevoren. Slaapbank was stuk, was nu slaapstoel, geen probleem maar Beddengoed niet te vinden, zat uiteindelijk in de kapotte slaapbank. Het bed had een enorme kuil dus we rolden elke x naar elkaar toe. In de gang de trapleuningen erg los, best link met zo'n steile trap. Hopelijk wordt er wat met deze review gedaan want het is echt een top locatie maar zou dus nog veel leuker/beter kunnen worden!

Très belle expérience dans cet appartement

C est un très bel appartement avec une vue fantastique sur la grande place. La situation est géniale car au centre de tout. Le lit dans la chambre est très confortable. L’appartement est très propre et très bien équipé. Ce serait parfait s il y avait un canapé-lit dépliable dans le salon. Le bruit des restaurants le soir peut être gênant pour les personnes qui dorment dans le salon. Un parking Q Park a Nieuwe Markt, à 13 euros la journée est à 5mn à pied.
