Perfect place to stay for a visit to Lake Maggiore

The view from the balcony was spectacular, just like the photos on the site. There was plenty of space and it was very comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful. It is between two small towns - Cannero Riviera and Cannobio. Both are very much worth visiting and have ports where you can take a boat to other towns on the lake. Great place to stay for a trip to Lake Maggiore, and to enjoy a glass or two on the balcony after a busy day!

As mentioned by others, there is a very busy road outside below the house and there are over 60 steps to get up to the apartment so good mobility is needed. It is about 1.5 km from the nearest town with poor public transport so it is advisable to have a car to be flexible. As long as you're aware of these things they're not a problem! They're outweighed by the great things about the property!

The most friendly and helpful hosts we ever have had. Good language skills. They came with fresh fruits and in the apartment, there were some local wine bottles which you could take for a small amount of money. Wonderful view from the balcony under roof, giving shadow during the hottest hours. Small local beach just across the street. Just about one hour drive to reach the really high mountain areas.

Some noise from the morning traffic on the street below. A possible improvement could be air conditioning giving an option to sleep with closed windows/doors although the apartment itself was quite cool even with 30 C outside.

A wonderful view through the window and from the terrace, a small public beach just across the road, a very clean flat and very friendly hosts.

The flat is close to the main road so the ones having a light sleep should take ear plugs.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Lage herrlich. Blick auf die Ruinen im See ! Die 64 Stufen zur Wohnung sind machbar ! Leider ist es ziemlich laut durch die Strasse am See. Aber der Blick auf den See macht alles wett !

Das ist ein wunderschönes Platz, wir wollen auf jeden Fall wieder hierher kommen

Uns gefielen die Villa, ihre Lage, der herzliche Empfang der Eigentümer und die atemberaubende Aussicht von der Terrasse. Es gibt auch zwei wunderschöne Städte in der Nähe, es gibt einen kleinen Strand in der Nähe des Hauses. Die Gastgeber sind so nett, dass wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt haben❤️

Ich habe keine Nachteile gesehen. Als Wunsch hätte es in jedem Zimmer einen Ventilator gegeben, um die Luft bei heißem Wetter abzukühlen.

Atemberaubendes Ausblick

Atemberaubendes Ausblick von Terrasse, sehr freundliche Vermieter, bequeme Betten und blanko weiße Bettwäsche und Handtücher, sehr sauber, 2 Parkplätze direkt vom Haus. Viele verschiedene Tischspiele für Abendunterhaltung.

Sehr viele Treppen(ca. 70Stuffen), die zur Wohnung hochgehen (für Familie mit kleinen Kinder oder ältere Menschen ist nicht so geeignet). Das Möbel schon in die Jahre gekommen. Da das Haus direkt am stark befahrene Straße liegt , am früheren Morgen( ungefähr ab halb 6) kann man nicht mehr schlafen wegen Lärm. In der Nähe gibt es kein Zugang zur See

Einfach schön und entspannt

Es war sehr schön, die beiden Gastgeber waren unheimlich lieb - obwohl wir spät abends ankamen, war es kein Problem uns dann noch die Schlüssel zu bringen. Die Lage ist fantastisch, man hat einen wundervollen Blick über den See - muss allerdings viele Treppen laufen zum Appartement. Ist aber gutes Training und selbst der Weg hoch ist toll :)
