Urban Retreat - Isola District

面對中庭十分安靜，即使外面市集已經開始在房間內也不會被打擾到

有時候一樓餐廳摔盤子有點大聲

The location is excellent just 3 minutes far from the second main train station in Milano and 15 minutes far from the central train station, also 2 minutes walk fron the metro. However we were able to walk to city center which is about 50 minutes. The area is very cuzy full of good restaurants, cafes and Bakeries with reasonable prices since it is populated by Italian families. The appartment was super clean and equipped with everything you might need including basic toiletries. The inperson check-in by Mauriliaprocess was very easy and we received very good recommendations for nearby restaurants, cafes, etc. Also she shared information how to go to airport and other useful links. The building is very quite and the small balcony on the internal yard was very cozy. Both ACs were functioning very well and it is really needed in Milan in hot weather. If you were lucky, every Saturday the district hosts Milano Street Market where you can find everything at reduced prices including clothes.

Checkout time at 10 am is very early (We had to leave even earlier to catch the train) It will be better to have basic kitchen needs such as salt, sugar, oil,..

Very clean apartment- very secure with code entry. Comfy bed, and kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom had little shower gels, toilet rolls and fresh towels, shower always had hot water and good pressure. Washing machine was very handy! Lovely little balcony for al fresco breakfasts overlooking the court yard. TV was just terrestrial channels but some channels can be changed to English. It was very close to lots of restaurants, market twice a week just outside the door but when inside the apartment it was very quiet. 2 small supermarkets within walking distance and 1 large one within the Garibaldi complex. A short walk to China town and the main city as well as both Garibaldi and Centrale stations. Wood fired pizza restaurant Capuano's is very good and just 2 mins from the apartment! This was a perfect place to stay, close enough to the city to enjoy it but far enough away to see real Italian life. The host was very helpful and could be contacted easily through whatsapp and sent videos and photos explaining exactly how to get into the apartment (as we arrived after 8pm). All in all we couldn't find fault with anything, a lovely place.

The apartment was a good size with very usable kitchen and good appliances we were pleased to have a toaster which was good for the only daily meal we had ,breakfast. The I Isola area has lots of local restaurants, and is only a short walk to the Metro Station.

We had no issues we stayed for 9 days
