Inner-city 2 bedroom apartment - perfectly located

The location is indeed excellent but that's about it for great things.

The key collection is very inconvenient, whether you have a car or not - a kilometre from the apartment, in a busy part of the city where parking is a problem. If you don't have a car, given you almost certainly have luggage, also very inconvenient. We were allowed to leave the key in the apartment, after much text messaging. During our two-nights stay we received a large number of mildly threatening messages: 'do this' and 'make sure don't do that' - in my hundreds stays in similar places, I've never experienced anything like that. Dishes in the kitchen were not checked by the cleaner and they were poorly washed by the previous guest. It is fair that guests should not leave a huge mess of dirty dishes, but this system requires cheking. The flat is too big, with virtually glass walls, and the heating in the large lounge area did not work. I would not stay there again.

We were in Hobart for a conference. It was difficult to get the keys as had to walk to get the keys during a break As colleagues it was difficult with only one set of keys as we were not always in the same place.

The unit was good but the second room was cold

Location was good and the apartment was comfortable and spacious.

Picking up the key is a real pain if you have a car as it’s a busy street and can be difficult to park. Residents don’t like you using the parking space and are quite rude about it. We had a man stand and watch us park in case we got too close to his wife’s car. We tried to be friendly but he didn’t want know. There is no direct access from the car park to the apartment which was a pain with our bags. We had an issue with the balcony but it was dealt with quickly and to our satisfaction.

Location was handy

Host response very poor. Called many times with no response regarding some amenities. Stay was for 4 nights. Did not find this as value for money.
