This is one of the best minshuku stays I’ve ever experienced in Oga. The environment is absolutely beautiful, with a small pond right in front of the charming 75-year-old house, creating a peaceful and authentic countryside atmosphere. The room was the largest I’ve ever stayed in, divided into four separate compartments. I especially loved the cozy sofa area with a large glass door overlooking the outside view, it was the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. The house also runs a café at the entrance, and you can really feel the attention to detail in every corner. The design is thoughtful, warm, and full of character. Every facility and amenity provided reflects genuine care for the guests. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding, delicious, generous in portion, and absolutely worth the additional cost. And I have to mention the sweet potato Japanese cheesecake. it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had. It’s been a long time since I enjoyed a cake this much, and I truly wished that the last bite would never come. As a coffee lover, I really appreciated the hand-drip coffee. They even gave us a free single pack to take away, and honestly, the six-pack set for ¥880 is totally worth buying. What made the stay even more special was the hospitality and the quietness of Oga’s countryside. It feels very exclusive, as if they only host one group at a time, which makes the experience even more private and relaxing.

手作りのご飯はどれも丁寧で美味しくお腹いっぱいになります。カフェスペースの雰囲気はとてもオシャレで落ち着くことができ、宿泊スペースはとても広く、ゆっくりとできます。 また、古民家なので、その土地の文化と相まって歴史を感じることができます。 オーナーの方の対応はとても丁寧でお人柄も素敵です。 宿の近くになまはげ館などあり、観光にも良いです。 秋田旅行で、こちらの宿に泊まることが1つの目的で、一番の楽しみでしたが、行けて良かったです！
