Location was 50 meters from the beach. The staff were exceptional - friendly, professional and helpful. They even went to great lengths to prepare us breakfast when we had to leave early morning. The room and pool were very clean and comfortable and surrounded by beautiful garden. And the Dutch owners, Marcel and Elise, were welcoming and friendly.

Nothing major, the room could maybe do with updating to brighten it up a bit but that didn’t detract from the enjoyment of my stay.

Breakfast was not bad and there were many choices to choose from, enough to satisfy both Westerners and Asians. The staff were friendly and always on our side. It is close to the beach (200m from the hotel), but for this price, you can book a resort right in front of the beach and have breakfast while looking at the beach. I chose it after looking at the map, but the beach is not visible from the accommodation. This is our mistake, but the location on the map may be ambiguous. The problem is that the accommodation has a laundry service. The laundry service is also listed on the website. There is a laundry service sign in the hotel lobby, and if you ask the staff, they will naturally guide you to the laundry service next to the hotel. We had a lot of laundry after the Rinjani trek, so we left it for the laundry service and it was not bad. However, one of my friend's laundry was missing and I couldn't get it back. I told the hotel about this and the staff tried hard to help me find it. However, the laundry was lost. In the end, the hotel boss came late and what he said was incredible. This laundry service is separate from the accommodation and they are not responsible. It was a ridiculous explanation, but we still made various explanations and held the hotel responsible. Then, Asians started to frame this as an excuse to demand money. The more we talked, the more absurd it became. And when we weren't together, he would curse at a friend who was alone and make derogatory remarks about Asians. They started to ignore us, saying that we were Asians who approached other guests around them and demanded money for laundry. This was also recorded on video. The laundry room in the hotel also manages bicycles and if they were to lend them out for free, it would be obvious that this system cannot be separate from the hotel, but they keep saying ridiculous things like it is not our responsibility.

We just wanted compensation for the laundry, but a sincere apology and an active attempt to find it. The staff tried hard to find it, but the owner of the accommodation did not even try to actively check the installed CCTV, and only made excuses and evasions that we did not have the book, and continued to make racist remarks that degraded the poet. What was even more absurd was that when we went out to eat breakfast the next day, they told us to vacate the room by 9am and took the cushions from the chairs we were sitting on. I recorded it all on video. We made a reservation for check-out at 11am, so they told us to tell Booking.com. They said it was their hotel and it was their choice, so they ordered us to leave at 9am. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing, but we held on. It was a situation that ruined my hopes for a pleasant trip. The conclusion was that the laundry was not found and no compensation was given, so the friend who lost the laundry just gave up because he didn't want to ruin his good trip. And the funny thing is that while I was talking to the hotel manager, the staff cheered us on and said, "Keep on going." What's even funnier is that the accommodation disappeared from Google Maps. At first, it was listed as closed, but it was listed for a while, and now even the reviews are blocked... Why do you act like that when you're so confident~ I have another chance to leave a review.
