Clifden Glen Cottage

Great place to stay for a few nights near Clifden. Car is needed - there aren't paths from the housing development to get to Clifden. House was clean and perfect for 3 of us. Housing development itself has a playground and tennis court. Host left rackets and tennis ball in the house which was a lovely touch. Instructions for check in were clear and we had no issues getting into the house. The only shower is in the downstairs bedroom and bathroom upstairs has bath only. Not an issue for us as 3 friends getting up at the same time, but useful to know depending on your group. The water heater needs to be turned on for the shower as it is a mains water shower, not electric.

A bench or seats out the back of the house would be nice, especially as we were there when the weather was so good.

The cottage was so clean and lovingly looked after. The beds were cosy, with beautiful bed linen and the towels so fluffy. Ann is an exceptional host and had a high chair and cot available for our group. We would highly recommend

Great location, really nice property, comfortable beds and kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Host Ann was so helpful and available if we needed anything during our stay. Will definitely be back. Thanks again.
