Wood be good inn

We stayed 4 nights at the Woodbegoodinn and it was a truly great moment during our Japan trip ! The place is very cozy and fits 4 persons very well, it is very well situated to enjoy the coastal life of Eastern Kyushu, with tons of good tips from Ryoko and Harry, and every day can start and end with delicious meals, cooked with passion and home-grown ingredients. Even the typhoon days became enjoyable times. What do you need more? Well more you will get eventually, because Ryoko and Harry are wonderful guests, whose care and attentions made a good time turn into great experience and memories ! Their attention started well before we arrived and continued after, and you can feel that it is natural and dear to their hearth. So if you're around don't hesitate to book, and if you're wondering why you should come to Nichinan for some days we'll now you know !!

It’s a beautiful cabin with a good bed, everthing clean and cozy. With the sound of frogs in the night and birds in the morning it’s wonderful to rest. A onsen is nearby where I met friendly locals. The owners of wood be good inn gave free tickets wich is a very nice gesture!

At the moment trucks are passing because they are driving up and down to get wood from the forest. We found it realy difficult to find a place to have dinner. The recommendation list in the cabin did not help because it was a Google list wich is very unreliable with opening times. Almost everything we tried on the list wich said to be opened was closed. We drove witje the car for a long time. Maybe it’s better to bring Some dinner for the microwave wich is available to use.

We loved this stop on our Kyushu road trip. The location, the design, the thoughtful amenities and features, the clear communication, the kind hosts, the friendly doggos, just how comfortable the beds are, and especially how clean it is. The property is wonderful, our kids—ages 9 and 12—LOVED having some freedom to wander the property, jump on the trampoline, and then explore the nearby neighbourhood! Our only regret is not staying longer. I'd love to come back and base ourselves here for several days or a week as there is so much to see and do.
