Hackthorne Gardens Luxury Accommodation

Hackthorne Gardens is a wonderful luxury villa with an unusual open hotel style. There is rarely anyone on the front desk - just arrive, pick up the key and go in. Our room was spacious with a stunning view across Christchurch and the bed really comfortable. The lounge and common areas are beautifully decorated and open for guest to use as needed. There is a small dining area but no restaurant. They do advertise breakfast which we did not use. The gardens are lovely and there is ample safe parking.

Wi-fi was a little slow but that was more a reflection on the network than the premises.

Looking for history! With its rich history and prime location, it’s the perfect getaway. If you’re looking for luxury, you’ve found the right place! Big shout out to Joshua he made the stay even better - Thanks Joshua for you help and advice.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in

The view was fantastic

I booked the stay for my wife to relax and unwind but when she arrived, there was no staff on site and the room key she was provided was for a room inferior to the one booked. When she managed to contact the staff about this, the room I had booked was not clean and there weren't any others of that level available. There has been no communication to rectifying the situation and I find the audacity to assume that it would just be over looked, quite telling.
