Tolle Lage, sehr zentral mit vielen, vielen Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und dennoch ruhig, kleiner Balkon mit Aussicht, komfortable Wohnung, sehr bequemes, großes Bett, Kaffeemaschine mit ausreichend Kapseln, Bad und Toilette getrennt, ruhiges Haus. Der Schlüsselcode funktionierte zunächst nicht, der Vermieter war aber unmittelbar erreichbar und kam sofort. Ebenso wurde das Badfenster direkt repariert. Sehr zu empfehlen, auch zum Frühstücken: das Café direkt an der Ecke mit leckerem Kaffee

Die Ausstattung der Küche ist sehr rudimentär und eher nicht zum Kochen geeignet; aber damit sollte man bei dem kulinarischen Angebot in unmittelbarer Nähe auch keine Zeit verschwenden 😊 Die Balkontüre ließ sich nicht verschließen, aber das war für uns kein Problem.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Don Andrea and would recommend it to visitors looking for a comfortable and well-located base in Taormina. The location was excellent—close to everything, yet situated on a quieter street, which meant we could enjoy peaceful nights and sleep well. We also loved having a small café just downstairs. The coffee and croissants were delicious, and it was a lovely way to start each morning. The room was comfortable, and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped for anyone planning to cook during their stay. We didn’t use it ourselves, but it had everything needed and was very thoughtfully organized.

There were a couple of areas where I think the experience could be improved. Taormina is a wonderful place to go out in the evening, and since I travel with a lot of linen clothing, I was surprised that there was no iron or garment steamer available. Coming from North America, this is a standard amenity in most hotels and vacation rentals, especially at this price point. I mentioned it to the owner, who acknowledged my comment, but no solution was offered. I think providing a small iron and ironing board or a portable steamer would be a worthwhile investment that many guests would appreciate. Another point to be aware of is that the city tax is collected separately and must be paid in cash upon arrival. This is common in Italy, but I personally prefer when all charges are clearly included in the booking price from the beginning.

Great location. Nice size modern apartment.

They need to supply and iron and ironing board. Bit hard dressing nice in an upmarket town with crinkled shirts. Some milk or at least coffee mate needed for the coffee they supply. Lots of stairs to the apartment
