Prime 2BR Condo Historic Morris Ave, Downtown Birmingham

Owner was helpful & efficient, very quickly handling all questions, and he did not seem bothered when I called even though I had already received an email from him with the information I was calling for. Location was not sketchy, we felt safe. Nice pizza place and ice cream shop below apartment. You walk through that breezeway and then up the stairs or elevator and then across the sky bridge and through the door to your far left. The parking lot directly across the cobblestone road cost $40 / night. Look on towards the railroad track, you’ll see another much larger parking lot that cost only $4 / night! Huge cost difference only steps apart. Thanks to a friendly neighbor who offered this information as we were unloading. Saved us quite a bit of money. To get to that parking lot, you’ll go down beside the next building - I think a dental office - you’ll see the entrance gate to your right. Enter for free and pay when you exit. It was a quiet environment as far as people, but the train is loud and it never stopped. Very very busy train tracks. Didn’t bother us though. Inside the apartment is very spacious with high ceilings. Not spotless but mostly clean, some dust but nothing major. Nice shower, water pressure, lighting. Comfy beds and pillows. Super nice kitchen but we did not cook. Living room has a pull out couch bed. Plenty of extra linens. All in one washer/dryer, we are not familiar with but did not need it. This property was everything we needed and we will definitely stay here when we come back to this area.

My favorite part of the apartment was the kitchen I felt like I was in my dream kitchen and the bathroom was everything plus more I felt like I was in a luxury apartment without having to pay the luxury price.! I love how Roy and his wife made sure paper towels, toilet paper, and towels were stocked. Let me not forget to mention communication is everything to me and they are great at fixing anything that may happen FAST && always making sure that you are comfortable.!

Honestly there wasn’t anything for me to dislike.

The location was great! We loved the restaurants around the area and felt very safe. The apartment was beautiful.

The bed in the room without windows was not comfortable. The mattress was very thin and the bed creaked with every move. Could have been cleaned better , there was hair in the shower.
