VUE SUR LA SEINE

The apartment was amazing and was so full of character which we did not expect at all. Massive open plan layout for kicthen and living area with huge windows to open and lean out of to enjoy the view. The bedroom upstairs was quirky with skylight and then more steps that lead up to the rooftop terrace which was an absolute sun trap in the 34 deg heat! Views of the top half of the Eiffel Tower the Seine and the Louvre from the terrace. Sat up there until after midnight but be warned as the automated sprinklers for the flower boxes come on at 23:00 (and 11:00) so got a bit wet sitting next to them...The cold water was a relief from the heat though haha.

It was on the 4th floor (the top) so the stairs could be a bit much for some. About 75 to get to the door and then a few more after the apartment door. The stairs are also spiral all the way so could cause some dizziness on the way down for some. This was not an issue for us but could be for some so be mindful before booking. The lights in the stairway are automatic but the first light does not come on until you are halfway up the first flight and there are no windows so it's dark until then. The key pick up instructions where not very clear and I didn't know what to expect until I asked in the morning. You are sent an automated message after check in time (it was 15:05 for us) to tell you the door code and instructions for the lock box. It would have been better if we were told specifically before our arrival day that we would receive the instructions on or just after 15:00 so we didn't worry about what needed to be done. I like to know in advance these things so I can relax.

De locatie, lekker centraal, leuk dakterras

Airconditioning was helaas defect. Ivm warme lentedagen was dit wel een gemis!

Famille avec un enfant de 6 ans et demi c’était parfait ! La chambre à l’étage mezzanine était confortable (attention aux poutres quand on se lève la nuit mais cela donne du cachet à l’appartement !) . Nous savions que l’appartement était au 4 eme étage et cela ne nous a pas posé problème (nous avions des sacs à dos pas de grosses valises donc la largeur des escaliers ne nous a pas gênés! La terrasse était superbe pour regarder le coucher de soleil avec la Tour Eiffel et le sacré cœur au loin. L’emplacement est idéal nous avons fait beaucoup de choses à pied et métro (plusieurs stations proches ). Le quartier est super sympa , beaucoup de choses restaurants, bars, crêperie et à 2 , 3 min à pieds la rue est encore plus vivante avec pleins de terrasses de café et glaciers … il y avait le chauffage et la Clim mais nous ne nous en sommes pas servis mais la Clim chauffage semblait assez moderne … l’appartement est plus grand que sur les photos une sorte de loft tout ouvert (sauf sdb et wc) c’était super lumineux et agréable de voir le ciel et les toits de Paris . Nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité dans c’est appartement et le quartier L’hôte est resté très disponible . Nous avons payé un peu moins de mille deux cents euros pour 4 nuits en avril et nous avons trouvé que les était un bon rapport qualité prix et mettons donc un dix pour toutes ces raisons . Nous avons cuisiné (jambon pâtes ) un soir et la cuisine semblait plutôt bien équipée . Nous avons apprécié le café offert et l’essuie tout et le savon dans la cuisine et la salle de bains . Le lave vaisselle aide bien aussi et il y avait aussi un lave linge que nous n’avons pas utilisé.

Rien - peut être si vous avez une mobilité réduite ou les escaliers pas l’idéal pour vous … je ne suis pas sportive )quarantaine et c’était ok pour moi !

Great location

Low ceiling in bedroom. The apartment was rather cold for use in winter, one the heaters didn’t work. No shampoo, no soaps, no kitchen towels or hand soap in the kitchen.
