VUE SUR LA SEINE

Nuestra estancia fue muy buena y volveríamos a alojarnos aquí. Los anfitriones fueron excelentes: comunicación rápida, muy amables y eficientes desde antes de la llegada hasta el final de la estancia. La casa está muy bien equipada, con todo lo necesario tanto en la cocina como en las habitaciones y el salón. Es un alojamiento amplio, algo que se agradece en pleno centro de París. La ubicación es fantástica: en el centro de París, con muchísimos restaurantes, cafeterías y comercios a pocos pasos, pero al mismo tiempo en una calle muy tranquila, lo que permite descansar perfectamente. La auténtica joya del apartamento es la terraza. Es espectacular, muy amplia y agradable, con unas vistas preciosas a los tejados de París. Sin duda fue uno de los rincones que más disfrutamos. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. The hosts were excellent—friendly, responsive, and very efficient throughout the entire stay. Communication before check-in and during our visit was smooth and easy. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped, with everything needed in the kitchen, bedrooms, and living area. Having so much space is a real bonus, especially for a property located in central Paris. The location is outstanding: right in the heart of Paris, surrounded by plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops, yet on a quiet street that makes it easy to relax and sleep at night. The highlight of the apartment is definitely the terrace. It’s absolutely spectacular, spacious, beautifully furnished, and offers lovely views over the Paris rooftops. It quickly became our favorite place to relax.

Como aspectos a mejorar, las cortinas dejan pasar demasiada luz. En verano, cuando amanece muy temprano, entra mucha claridad en las habitaciones y resulta difícil dormir. Unas cortinas opacas o persianas mejorarían muchísimo la experiencia. También es importante tener en cuenta que el apartamento está en una planta alta y no dispone de ascensor. Hay que subir cuatro plantas por una escalera de caracol muy estrecha, además de otro tramo para acceder al apartamento y una escalera interior para llegar a una de las habitaciones. Si se viaja con maletas grandes, niños pequeños o personas con movilidad reducida, conviene tenerlo presente. A couple of things could be improved. The curtains do not block much light, so during summer the early sunrise makes the bedrooms very bright from early morning. Blackout curtains or shutters would make a big difference. Also, future guests should know that the apartment is located up four flights of stairs with no elevator. In addition, there is another staircase to enter the apartment and an internal staircase leading to one of the bedrooms. The spiral staircase is very narrow, so carrying large suitcases can be challenging.

Fantastic location, air conditioning (during a heatwave) was a life saver. Clean, spacious and comfortable.

The apartment was amazing and was so full of character which we did not expect at all. Massive open plan layout for kicthen and living area with huge windows to open and lean out of to enjoy the view. The bedroom upstairs was quirky with skylight and then more steps that lead up to the rooftop terrace which was an absolute sun trap in the 34 deg heat! Views of the top half of the Eiffel Tower the Seine and the Louvre from the terrace. Sat up there until after midnight but be warned as the automated sprinklers for the flower boxes come on at 23:00 (and 11:00) so got a bit wet sitting next to them...The cold water was a relief from the heat though haha.

It was on the 4th floor (the top) so the stairs could be a bit much for some. About 75 to get to the door and then a few more after the apartment door. The stairs are also spiral all the way so could cause some dizziness on the way down for some. This was not an issue for us but could be for some so be mindful before booking. The lights in the stairway are automatic but the first light does not come on until you are halfway up the first flight and there are no windows so it's dark until then. The key pick up instructions where not very clear and I didn't know what to expect until I asked in the morning. You are sent an automated message after check in time (it was 15:05 for us) to tell you the door code and instructions for the lock box. It would have been better if we were told specifically before our arrival day that we would receive the instructions on or just after 15:00 so we didn't worry about what needed to be done. I like to know in advance these things so I can relax.

Great location

Low ceiling in bedroom. The apartment was rather cold for use in winter, one the heaters didn’t work. No shampoo, no soaps, no kitchen towels or hand soap in the kitchen.
