Casa da Fajã do Amo Sea view and Jacuzzi by an island apart

We enjoyed the view and the private outdoor seating area! We also enjoyed the gated front door area. The neighbor was nice too.

The two bed room door was EXTREMELY difficult to shut the door no swear I am not slow :/ haha. The shower in the queen bed room was leaking onto the floor.

Dom bardzo przestronny, położony w cichej, bardzo spokojnej części miasteczka. Do sklepu 3 minuty samochodem. Piękne widoki. Dobrze posprzątane.

Zapach wilgoci i stęchlizny w szafach i szafkach kuchennych. Ubrania trzymaliśmy w walizkach, szafy nie nadają sie do użycia. Zaniedbane jakuzzi, brudne filtry, brak środków do dezynfekcji wody, trzeciego dnia pobytu woda zaczęła byc zielona i śmierdząca. Skorzystaliśmy tylko raz... Zaniedbane, nieprzyjemne łazienki, wymagające remontu. To naprawdę bardzo słaba strona domu. Bardzo zużyta pościel. Nieuprane, z plamami narzuty na łóżka. Zniszczone meble ogrodowe. Brak zmywarki. Nieadekwatna jakość do ceny.

Tolle ruhige Lage, kaum direkte Nachbarn. Hier kann man perfekt entspannen und hat eine wunderbare Aussicht auf‘s Meer und Tal. Großer Supermarkt nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Eigene Garage mit direktem Zugang zum Haus. Ausstattung wie beschrieben mit sehr bequemen Betten. Sehr gepflegter Garten mit mehreren Möglichkeiten zum Essen im Freien. TV und WLAN einwandfrei. Toll war auch die recht neue Waschmaschine. Man fühlt sich hier wohl.

Durch die teilweise hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit auf Madeira riecht es im Haus etwas feucht/modrig, v.a. in den älteren Einbauschränken. Meine Kleidung habe ich daher außerhalb gelagert. Durch Lüften/Heizen bekommt man den Geruch aber gut in den Griff (bis auf in den Schränken). Zusätzlich nerven die kleinen Ameisen in der Küche etwas, die vermutlich durch die Garage kommen. Dies war aber zu verkraften, da es immer nur wenige waren. Vorhandenes Ameisenspray hat leider nichts gebracht. Schade war auch, dass wir den Jacuzzi aufgrund eines technischen Defektes in den letzten Tagen unserer Aufenthaltes nicht nutzen konnten, obwohl dieser sehr neu war. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war aber immer zügig und schnell. Ein letzter suboptimaler Punkt war, dass ich es nicht geschafft habe das Küchenfenster zu verriegeln.

The house is exceptionally spacious and tastefully decorated, perfect for 2 couples. Located in a tranquil area, it's perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation. Despite its serene setting, everything you might need - restaurants and a large supermarket - is conveniently just a 5min drive away.

The only downside we encountered was the presence of ants in the kitchen. As a result, it wasn't possible to leave any food items out on the shelves, and everything had to be stored in the refrigerator. It would be great if the owners could address this issue, as resolving it would make the stay even more comfortable.
