Appartamento Piazza Bertamino

The accommodation is in a great location, very close to the beach and restaurants. The train station is only a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to reach larger cities. I also really loved the old railway tunnel leading to the neighboring towns, as well as the Punte Levanto cliff path. The apartment is well-equipped, although providing some basic salt and laundry detergent would have been a nice touch. The place itself is clean and spacious, featuring two bathrooms. The pictures reflect reality perfectly.

The beds have very thick mattresses, which is nice in theory, but it makes the already high beds even higher. This was a bit bothersome, especially with the single beds. Regarding check-in, it is completely understandable that the host charges a late fee for coming in person after 8 PM (which I don't think was mentioned during booking, or maybe I just missed it). However, since the key handover doesn't actually require personal presence, paying the tourist tax and registering ID details could easily be managed online nowadays.
