Grensha Pyramids inn

Grensha Guesthouse is an excellent choice for those who want to experience an authentic homely atmosphere in the immediate vicinity of the pyramids. The owner is very friendly and helpful, despite our very late arrival at half past one in the morning he was waiting for us in the cafe on the access road, he welcomed us warmly and even offered us a better room with a view of the pyramids because it was available. The room has a comfortable bed, a shower with hot water all day long and a kettle and coffee/tea. The lady prepared us a delicious breakfast on the roof terrace at the agreed time, from where there is a beautiful view of the pyramids and the head of the Sphinx. At the beginning of Al Malek Fouad Street, at number 2, there is a local bistro where they make absolutely great falafel. At the square at the intersection of Abou Al Houl Al Syahi western street and Al Mostafsha, there is the final stop of bus number 2001, which will take you to the Giza metro station and to the center of Cairo. (If they are not running due to road repairs, as happened to us, you can just stop a tuk tuk or minibus on the main street Abou Al Houl Al Syahi to take you to the metro. We thank the lovely owner and his wife from the bottom of our hearts and we would love to come back someday!

Posizione incredibile, Ahmed è un ospite premuroso e gentile, la colazione è tipica e abbondante, la stanza è essenziale ma molto pulita, ordinata e silenziosa. L’edificio è il più vicino in assoluto alle piramidi in linea d’aria e sul terrazzo si può godere di una magnifica vista.

You can feel at home here, with a very welcoming host and his family! The view is incredible, the Pyramids are just out of your window. The Top Terrace allows you to relax or have breakfast looking at the Pyramids and the Sphinx. A simple and true and tasteful breakfast to start the day. The price is very low and the apartment is simple and basic, but I didn't put this information on the Cons, because it is ok, and you have what you need.
