Gokul PG Homestay

We arrived at the lodge on February 21, 2026, and due to the Holi celebrations, we were unable to secure onward travel tickets. As a result, we found ourselves unexpectedly stranded in Gorakhpur for six days. What could have been a stressful situation turned into one of the most heartwarming experiences of our journey — all thanks to Mr. Arvind. He truly went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed, cared for, and at home. From graciously upgrading our room at no additional cost to kindly allowing us a slightly late checkout, his generosity and hospitality touched us deeply. We can confidently say that this city and this lodge have gifted us some of the most beautiful memories we have ever had in India. The area feels safe, and the people here are incredibly warm, loving, and kind. Gorakhpur will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Absolutely nothing

Une belle découverte que ce logement ! Ou j'ai passé quelques jours. Très propre et bien équipé, avec l'eau chaude et une literie très confortable. Le petit salon était un plus vraiment super. Bien placé et au calme la nuit. Je voyage solo et vraiment je me suis sentie en toute sécurité. Arvind est une personne adorable, présent mais discret. Joignable à tout moment. Et de bons conseils pour le séjour sur Gorakpur. Je conseille vivement cette adresse, avec un très bon rapport qualité prix. Merci Arvind

사장님, 이 댓글 꼭 보세요. 인도에 돈으로 사기치는 사람들 많은 것 이미 알고 있습니다. 하지만 힘들게 사는 사람들한테라야 저흰 100루피고 1000루피고, 아니 10000루피일지언정 쓰는 것 하나도 아깝지 않아요. 그런데 어제 방값 지불할 때 사장님께서 거스름돈 20루피 수중에 없다면서 안 주셨지요. 호스텔 운영하시고, 개인 사무실까지 있는 소위 살만큼 사시는 분께서 이러시면 안되는 것 아닌가요? 그것도 단돈 20루피 가지고요. 돈 문제가 아니라 기분의 문제죠. 친절하시다는 후기가 있길래 기대했는데 솔직히 실망스러웠습니다. 웃는 얼굴에 발등 찍혔네요. 방은 넓고 깨끗했습니다만 첫째로는 이러한 사장님의 태도. 둘째로는 돌처럼 딱딱한 침대와 그 때문에 잠을 설치고 오늘 아침 심해진 요통. 이런 것들을 생각해서 점수 드렸습니다. 부디 기분좋게 여행 온 투숙객들에게 얼마 되지도 않는 돈으로 기분 상하게 하시는 일 앞으로는 만들지 않으시길 바랍니다.
