About this house rental
A warm welcome to our vacation home, Huus Sünnschien, which was completed in August 2023.
We have designed our vacation home with care and attention to detail to offer you a true oasis of well-being from the very first moment.
Information on additional costs and fees:
The rental rates are based on 5 guests.
Electricity, water, and heating are included.
Special highlight: When you book, you’ll receive a free digital Grafschaft Guest Card. With this card, you’ll enjoy numerous discounts from more than 20 partners in the areas of public transportation, mobility, and leisure/culture.
A parking space and a lockable bike shed are available free of charge.
Bed linens, towels, firewood, a bread roll delivery service, and bicycles can be ordered upon request for a fee.
Your vacation begins in a smoke-free home that promises relaxation and rejuvenation.
Step into the spacious living and dining area — Here, air conditioning on hot days and a fireplace on cool evenings ensure a pleasant atmosphere.
A spacious dining table offers plenty of room for shared meals and game nights.
The well-equipped kitchen, featuring a counter directly adjacent to the dining area, allows you to prepare delicious meals without missing out on time together.
From the living and dining area, you can step out onto the patio, where you can relax in lounge chairs and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. In addition, a lounge area in the garden with a solar-powered umbrella by the water invites you to linger.
On the first floor, your own wellness area awaits, featuring a sauna, whirlpool, and shower. Here you can experience pure relaxation and leave the stress of everyday life behind.
A washer with a built-in dryer is located in the home’s utility room.
Upstairs on the loft, a comfortable sofa awaits you with a view of the lake park.
The upper level also features both bedrooms, each with a box-spring bed—cozy and perfectly suited for restful nights.
An additional restroom with natural light on the first floor provides even more comfort.
After a lovely bike ride, you can park your bikes (whether your own or rented) in the house’s bike shed. The bike shed is equipped with an outlet for charging e-bikes.
Our house is located in a quiet setting by the water, near Lake Vechtesee.
A 4-person canoe is available to you free of charge from April through October.
Go on boat tours on the Vechte, explore the numerous bike paths, or visit the local outdoor and indoor swimming pools.
The zoo in Nordhorn is also a highlight. In addition, the nearby Netherlands is perfect for day trips.
The town of Nordhorn attracts visitors with its cozy cafes and restaurants as well as shopping opportunities. All of these places are within easy walking distance.
