Sweeping sound and sunset views, a large, open floor plan, and a huge fenced-in back yard with access to a shared dock are just a few of the amenities at this stunning 4 bedroom home in the quiet, gated sound front community of Colington Harbour on beautiful Colington Island.
Just a short drive to the beaches of Kill Devil Hills, you will find Sound Jewel the perfect vacation retreat for water lovers, sunset seekers, and everyone in between!
The top level open floor plan and living area is filled with sunlight and sound views, complete with a large flat screen TV, a desk for remote working or learning, and even a built-in dog crate! Fresh, filtered tap water is available via a dedicated faucet at the kitchen sink, as well as through the refrigerator tap water and icemaking system. Steam crabs caught right off the dock, and enjoy dinner with a view in the dining area with seating for 8. Step out onto the deck overlooking the backyard to take in the views or watch your 4-legged friend run around and enjoy their Outer Banks vacation, too!
Guests will appreciate the comfort and convenience offered at Sound Jewel, including attached baths and large flat screen TVs in all 4 bedrooms, as well as ample deck access.
Guests at Sound Jewel are sure to enjoy all of the amenities the family-friendly, gated community of Colington Harbour offers just 2.5 miles away, including a soundside park with sandy beaches, a playground, a sheltered picnic area, an Olympic-sized community pool and kiddie pool, community tennis, and basketball courts. Colington Harbour also offers boat ramp access, so you can cruise the canals or hit the sound for a fun-filled day on the water!
As Colington Island is in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, you’ll have easy access to a wide array of restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping opportunities, as well as numerous attractions and guest destinations, like the Wright Brothers Memorial. Just a short 10-15 minute drive down Colington Road is the Ocean Bay Blvd. public beach access, the main location for Kill Devil Hills Ocean Rescue, offering handicapped beach access, public parking, and restrooms.
Sheets and towels are not provided but can be added to any reservation for a fee.
Sound Jewel is pet-friendly. There is an additional charge for guests bringing pets, which will be added and collected after booking. Pet fees range from $161-231 depending on the property, and will be assessed state and local taxes.
