About this house rental
Enjoy a stylish experience at this central location. This four-bedroom home, nestled in the bush with grand views over Lower Hutt Valley, instantly makes you feel like you're on holiday. It has excellent indoor and outdoor flow.
There are four double bedrooms, two with super king beds, one with one suite and walk-in wardrobe, and the other with queen beds and internal wardrobes. In the games room, there is also a sofa bed and two single beds, but ideally max of eight stays.
There is a 6-seat table and chairs (two chairs at the breakfast bar) and an 8-seat super comfy couch. Modern throughout, double-glazed and central panel heating is provided, and there is fire for warmth in winter. A games room has a pool, air hockey, table tennis and darts.
The main reason for staying is that you instantly feel like you're on holiday.....
.......It could be the tranquil setting, the sound of the water running from the outside stream, the bird song in the bush or the way the house sits on the earth surrounded by bush.
Or the breathtaking sight of nature rolling down the Lower Hutt Valley.......
.....Whatever it is, it makes me feel like I'm on holiday every day, so I assume you will feel it, too!
Waterloo has a local shop; I highly recommend the Hardy Street Butchery for award-winner meats. (Note that the shop is closed at 1 pm on Saturdays!) Both Chinese takeaways are great, and Pizzaland and Curry Star are the top draws. There is also a local cafe and bottle store!

A very good base from which to explore Lower Hutt and Wellington. And in this comfortable house we enjoyed the magnificent view of the changing weather and light over the Hutt Valley to the western hills. From nearby Waterloo Railway Station, Wellington was a quick and scenic train trip away.
