Lifestyle farm stay retreat near CBD

The lodge is located on a farm. As you enter the gate, you’ll see wide stretches of lush green grass and some lovely animals — horses, sheep, and alpacas. They’ll come over to greet you in a very friendly way. There’s also a polite big dog; he won’t enter the room without your permission 😄. The place offers great privacy and is very comfortable. You’ll experience something completely different here. I will definitely book again next time I come to Wellington.

Clean, quiet, safe, an oldie but a goodie

Heerlijk rustig plekje midden in de natuur. Voorzien van alles wat we nodig hadden. Fijn dat er een blower was voor frisse lucht in de nacht.

Er zaten geen horren voor de ramen die open konden. In verband met de insecten moesten we de ramen wel dicht houden.

The rural location was very pleasant and relaxing. It was special being amongst native trees again, and I really appreciated that I didn't need to go searching for somewhere to walk my pup.

Some things were a bit hard to manage - the chain on the gate challenged the strength in my thumbs, the walk from my car to the house door definitely needed a torch after dark, the kitchenette area had very little counter space. I would have appreciated a small hand-towel in the bathroom, and a tea towel for my washed dishes. These and other small challenges, however, did not outweigh the benefits of the peaceful rural surroundings.
