Our daughter lives in Arden, so my wife, two dogs and I headed up to the mountains to celebrate our Nations Independence and beat the Raleigh heat. Got there on Friday the 4th and stayed though Monday the 7th. House/property/location was great. Very close to Asheville, the NC Arboretum and Lake Powhatan, all of which was awesome for the humans and pups.Host was very communicative/helpful throughout our stay.Great Trip, highly recommend.

We had a great week with our family staying at the cabin. It’s spacious, with a rustic feel and modern upgrades. The highlights were the fire pit, the game room, and the jacuzzi, all perfect to unwind after a day of hiking. The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were fully equipped, the cabin was spotless. The communication with the property managers was perfect, very responsive and attentive. The AC unit in one of the bedrooms was unfortunately not working but they communicated with us to try to fix it and provided fans. Some additional feedback: the upstairs bedrooms curtains need fixing, and it would be wise to let people know that the road down to the cabin is unpaved and easy to miss! Thank you for a nice time at your place!

This house is tired and needs some work. First image is abandoned trailer, at back of property. Upon entering house, living space is fine. We head upstairs and AC in front guest bedroom is broken. About 5 fans, including ceiling fan that was off balance didn't really cool the room. Back bedroom also had non balanced ceiling fan, but at least the AC worked. Main AC for first floor worked. Kitchen lights over island did not work. Antler lights over dining room table are big and low enough to cause head injury. Hot tub and grill were dirty. Beds were comfortable enough, showers and towels were good and the communication from property manager was timely and helpful. We were there for 2 nights for a family reunion - so made the most of it.
